Dead kittens found dumped in Sneinton street
Four kittens were found dead dumped in a metal carrier in an appeal on Wednesday, the RSPCA said the four emaciated cats were found in the street by a passer-by outside Colwick Woods Court Flats in discovery was made on 23 July and inspectors believe the animals were left either that day or the day is not known if the eight-week-old black and white kittens died of starvation before being dumped or were abandoned before dying.
The pink crate that contained their bodies contained upturned empty food dishes.
'Never the answer'
The RSPCA, which is appealing for help to find the person responsible, said the cats would have suffered in the days leading up to their Kathleen Burris said the charity was also concerned for the kitten's mother and any other possible said the kittens had suffered "horrendously and unnecessarily" and added: "This was a horrendous discovery for anyone to make."We are hoping someone may have seen something or knows something about who owned these kittens."Abandoning animals is never the answer."
