IV of Spades debuts live performance of 'Aura' on on 'All-Out Sundays'
IV of Spades serenaded the "All-Out Sundays" audience with the debut live performance of their comeback single, "Aura." Unique Salonga, Zild Benitez, Blaster Silonga, and Badjao de Castro took the stage on Sunday and performed as a quartet for the first time since Unique left the group in 2018. OPM fans greatly missed the band, which went on hiatus two years after Unique's departure as Zild, Blaster, and Badjao also pursued solo projects. Last month, they surprised their fans with the sudden release of "Aura," which has a music video that featured the four of them. IV of Spades returns with new single 'Aura' after 5-year hiatus
Article Inside Page IV of Spades is finally back with new music! IV of Spades just dropped their first release in five years! On Instagram, the OPM band surprised fans with the announcement of their newest single, "Aura," featuring members Zild Benitez, Blaster Silonga, Badjao de Castro, and Unique Salonga in a field for the cover art. "AURA. OUT NOW," the band wrote. Fans were overjoyed in the comments, with some saying the comeback "healed the world" and others sharing how they have been waiting years for this moment. Vocalist Unique left the band to pursue a solo career and went on to release several hit songs. In 2020, the remaining members of IV of Spades announced a hiatus to focus on "personal interests." The OPM world was heartbroken, but in 2022, hope sparked again when the complete members of IV of Spades were spotted together during Ed Sheeran's concert rehearsal in Manila. IV of Spades released their last album CLAPCLAPCLAP! in 2019. They are best known for their iconic hits "Mundo," "Come Inside of My Heart," and "Hey Barbara."
