BSB Clinches Major Awards in 2025 Music Competitions
The British School of Bahrain (BSB) recently celebrated outstanding achievements at both the Young Musicians of the Gulf (YMOG) competition and the COBIS Music Festival 2025.
BSB was crowned the overall winner of the COBIS Music Festival 2025, taking home the Jeremy Hibbins Cup. Among the standout performances, Stella Rudiferia secured 1st place in composition and was awarded the title of Composer of the Year 2025. Other results included: Tim: 1st Place, Piano

George: 1st Place, Folk
Alex: 1st Place, Rock & Pop
Jazz Combo: 2nd Place
Annabelle: 2nd Place, Piano
Aidan: 2nd Place
Eashan: Special Mention
In addition to these accomplishments, BSB's musicians excelled at Young Musicians of the Gulf (YMOG) competition, with Rancheng Xu and Timothy Yu Shin winning the Small Ensemble category and securing the prestigious Best Overall Ensemble title. Stella Rudiferia also continued her success with a 2nd place finish in the Composition category.
