Concho Valley Farmers Market summer grand opening
SAN ANGELO, Texas (Concho Valley Homepage) — The Concho Valley Farmers Market is having their Grand Opening Market Saturday, June 14, starting at 7 a.m.
The farmers market first opened in May with winter crops, but now it is selling summer crops.
Concho Valley Farmer's Market to return for 2025 season
'So when we have this market, it's just signifying to the public the beginning of summer harvest season,' said Trevor Schwartz, President of the Concho Valley Farmers Market.
The market will have over 40 vendors from the Concho Valley, all selling agricultural products, plants, or baked goods, including honey, local meats, yellow squash, zucchini, tomatoes, peaches, asparagus, blackberries and eggs.
There will be door prizes for the first to attend the market between 7 a.m. and 9 a.m., along with music.
'Everything at the farmers market is grown within 75 miles, so that makes everything very seasonal,' Schwartz said.
The market is located at 609 S. Oakes Street and is open Tuesdays 7 a.m. to 12 p.m., Thursdays 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. and Saturdays 7 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
'We have an assertion of a bunch of different local agricultural products,' Schwartz said.
