The 4 things MAFSAU left out from Paul's shocking wall punch, as Carina reveals his "swinger past"

Married At First Sight Australia bride Carina Mirabile has revealed the full story behind the shocking moment that led to her then-hubby Paul Antoine punching a wall. About halfway through the experiment, things went left for the former power couple, as Paul revealed at a dinner party that he'd lost his temper and punched a wall after Carina admitted to sleeping with a rapper. The moment came as a shock to the other MAFSAU cast members and viewers alike, as the duo seemed super loved up and on the way to building a successful marriage. It turns out... a lot was actually left out of that moment. Here's everything that happened leading up to the moment that Paul punched the wall on MAFSAU. Carina and Paul told the other cast members that Paul had punched the wall because Carina revealed that she'd slept with a well-known rapper. However, the rapper's name wasn't disclosed on the show. Speaking about the incident on her new podcast with celebrity hairstylist Jacob Mueller, This Is Chaos, Carina claimed that the rapper she was intimate with is US star Quavo - who is best known as the frontman of the now-defunct hip-hop group, Migos. While we know that the incident took place after a double date with Rhi Disljenkovic and Jeff Gobbels, during which Carina revealed that she'd been intimate with a rapper, we didn't hear the exact details on MAFS. Carina has now opened up about the incident, saying: "We were taking turns putting on a song [in an Uber]. I put on a song and it was one with Quavo in it. I said, 'I slept with him' as it was funny and stupid, we all laughed about it. Paul laughed as well." She continued: "Then when we get back to the apartment and Paul was so furious. He was frustrated, I could see he was upset. He was pacing, he had to go the balcony, I was thinking, 'Okay this isn't normal, something is up.'" Carina thought that her comment would be unimportant given a previous confession from Paul. According to Carina, Paul revealed that he was into swinging in his previous relationship. Despite her initial reservations, Carina says she put it behind her, so she expected the same grace when it came to her revelation. She said: "When Paul and I were doing Confessions Week at the start of the experiment, he openly said that he was into swinging with his ex-partner. "I was like, 'Are you for real? Does your family know about this?' Then he told me all about his past dating life and I just let it go." She continued: "He was just so upset and dramatic about the whole Quavo situation. I kept apologising, he kept saying he was embarrassed that I openly said that. I kept saying sorry, sorry, sorry. I didn't feel unsafe, it was just us having a fight. "I said, 'But you openly said, on camera, for a national television show, that you had slept with swingers and did swinging with your ex so I didn't think [me sharing that story] that was a bad thing.'" Before Paul punched the wall, Carina says a producer who had overheard their argument, tried to diffuse the situation, asking Paul to go for a walk to cool down. However, this didn't help and when Paul returned from his walk he was still angry. "He was angry, pacing and breathing heavily. I just said, 'Let's go to bed, let's go to bed.' So we're laying in bed, I could hear him panting and I asked, 'what's going on? Are you okay?' He got up and said 'No, I'm not okay.' "He got up and bang, bang. I was like, 'Holy s**t this has now gotten so much serious.' I was freaking out, thinking how did it get from that comment to this situation?' MAFS fans beg producers to 'change the rules' after 'uncomfortable' moment

MAFS fans are begging producers to "change the rules" after Awhina Rutene was forced to stay another week on the show with 'husband' Adrian Araouzou, despite writing 'leave'. The rules of the show state that if one person writes 'leave' and one person writes 'stay', they both must stay another week, only being able to leave if they both say so, like Billy Belcher and Sierah Swepstone. After a tumultuous week in the experiment, where Adrian left because he wasn't going to be featured in a promotional video, admitted to having dinner with Sierah, and refused to own up to his terrible attitude, he claimed he was ready to listen to Awhina and wrote 'stay'. Awhina, meanwhile, was in tears, saying she had told herself in her Confessions Week letter, "Being a mum, you have to put your child first, and now here I am being selfish, missing out on real milestones in the pursuit of love. I guess time will tell if I made the right decision or not." RELATED: Are MAFS' Awhina Rutene and Adrian Araouzou still together? MAFS' Adrian Araouzou reveals he no longer talks to Sierah Swepstone after filming the show MAFS' Adrian Araouzou defends creating his own fan account: 'Bound to go viral' She told Adrian and the experts, "Coming on this experiment, how I felt today didn't feel worth being away from those very real milestones." Her admission left many of the other couples heartbroken and in tears, even expert Melissa Schilling appeared distraught for her. "So, I wrote, 'Sorry, leave'," she said as she showed the experts her decision. When asked by John Aiken if she believed Adrian when he said he wanted to improve his behaviour this week, Awhina responded, "I feel like tonight was definitely a big whack in the face moment for Adrian and he probably does truly believe that he wants to start showing up for me, but I'm not sure he's able to." John told Adrian that "it's on your shoulders to do some big time lifting", he said he was well aware that she had taken time away from her son so he "needed to show up". Adrian's sisters and friend believed every word he told them, and they defended him, not knowing the real story. Fans are upset that Awhina is being forced to stay, with many begging producers to "change the rules" for her. "They need to let her actually looks defeated," one user wrote. "He has only said stay to be in the next promo!" another wrote. "Seriously he's not there for love boot him out FFS so frustrating to watch! He is there for status." "I'm shocked he is shocked she doesn't want to stay," a third said. "Has he met himself?" "You made her stay after that speech?" someone else asked. "MAFS has rules but she needs to be allowed to leave!" another said. "I was hoping they would change the rules and let her leave," one viewer added. "He thinks it's all one big joke. Was hard to watch." MAFS' Jamie reveals major commitment ceremony moment viewers missed

Following a series of dramatic weddings and an explosive dinner party at the start of this year's season of Married At First Sight, the inaugural commitment ceremony followed suit with plenty of shocking moments. Not only did Jacqui Burfoot and Ryan Donnelly have a cringe-worthy couch session with the experts, but Jake Luik also blindsided his partner Ashleigh Ackerman by writing 'leave'. Arguably the biggest surprise of the night, however, was when Tim Gromie arrived late after previously refusing to move in with his partner Katie Johnston for Confessions Week. The controversial groom was berated by the experts, who labelled his dinner party behaviour as 'gaslighting 101', before the pair both wrote 'leave' and exited the experiment. RELATED: MAFS' Jamie targeted in bizarre X-rated scam that could happen to any Aussie Are MAFS' Dave Thomas and Jamie Marinos still together? MAFS' Katie Johnston appears downcast as fresh heartbreak revealed: 'Derailed me' While viewers were on the edge of their seats watching John Aiken call out Tim's treatment of Katie at the commitment ceremony, Jamie Marinos tells Yahoo Lifestyle that he wasn't the only one who had something to say. 'Look, I had a few choice words to say to Tim,' she laughs. 'I think I probably said enough at the dinner party, so I think [the editors] were thinking, 'Let's just let Daddy John take the wheel'. 'I could not tell you word for word what I said, but I was not impressed. I think he definitely had an idea that he was going to come in and get proven right. I honestly believe his perception of his reality was that he was very much in the right and Katie was in the wrong. I mean, he got a rude awakening and obviously, that's my girl up there.' Although Jamie's co-stars agreed with her comments about Tim and even got involved themselves, she believes they were all edited out of the episode to 'soften the blow'. 'Tim definitely did get a grilling that night, he did. I think they softened it up a little bit because obviously everyone is quite fired up and I think just probably to protect [his] mental health, perhaps. But it was quite an intense commitment ceremony, for sure,' she details. 'A lot of us did get quite involved and comments were obviously made, but not everyone's going to get shown. I think we needed the experts to take the wheel on that, and so that's kind of what they did show.' Jamie's outburst about Tim wasn't the only moment edited out of Sunday night's episode, with Morena Farina claiming her partner Tony Mojanovski made a bombshell confession on the couch. Morena revealed in a series of messages to 2023 groom Harrison Boon, which he shared to his Instagram Story last week with her permission, that Tony was still legally married to his estranged wife when he filmed the reality show. While she didn't have an issue with his martial status as she had also gone through a lengthy divorce process, she said that Tony admitted at the first commitment ceremony of the season that he was still in love with his wife and wanted the producers to bring her into the experiment. 'I don't care that I didn't find love,' Morena told Harrison in the leaked messages. 'I don't care that he is separated and dating. I took three years to get my divorce so it's okay. What I care about is he told everyone at the commitment ceremony, which is this week, that he loves his wife. He told directors and producers, 'Bring my wife in'.' 'Well I didn't let it go and I still haven't let it go,' she continued. 'This is why they're playing my character as I talk too much. Do I? I haven't even started yet. I don't understand. I'm actually happy. He loves his wife. I've actually told him that. Why didn't you chase your wife instead of this experiment?'
