Where can you find 85-cent Blizzards in Michigan? What to know on Dairy Queen promotion
If you're a Dairy Queen fan, now's your chance to grab an 85-cent small Blizzard in Michigan as the chain celebrates its 85th birthday.
The chain announced the limited-time offer on Friday, along with the upcoming launch of its summer Blizzard menu. This season, Dairy Queen will add two new flavors to the menu.
"For 85 years, we have been serving up smiles, sweet traditions and the most iconic frozen treats around. We figured what better way to celebrate this milestone than by giving our fans even more reason to indulge in their favorite flavors by offering them an 85-cent Blizzard,' said Maria Hokanson, executive vice president of marketing at Dairy Queen, in the news release.
"And because no birthday is complete without cake and sprinkles, we're bringing back the Confetti Cake Blizzard Treat for a limited time. So don't wait — this is a sweet celebration you won't want to miss."
Here's what to know.
An 85-cent small Blizzard is available now through April 6. The offer is good for rewards members with a purchase of at least $1.

Dairy Queen Rewards members may redeem a coupon for one 85-cent small Blizzard of their choice with the purchase of $1 or more through the DQ Rewards mobile app.
The coupon is only available to Dairy Queen Rewards members. The membership is free. To sign up, visit
Dairy Queen debuted the Blizzard in 1985, according to the Dairy Queen website.
Dairy Queen is introducing two new Blizzards this summer, the Mixing Bowl Mashup and Dipped Strawberry Cheesecake.
Here are the Blizzard flavors on Dairy Queen's summer menu:
Mixing Bowl Mashup: Brownie batter and chocolate chip cookie dough
Dipped Strawberry Cheesecake: Cheesecake pieces, choco chunks, strawberry topping
S'mores: Marshmallow-filled chocolate bars and graham cracker crunch
Confetti Cake: Cake pieces and confetti sprinkles
Cotton Candy: Cotton candy topping and sprinkles
The Summer Blizzard Treat menu will be available starting March 31.
