Democratic Governors Are Running Out of Options
Democratic governors once thought they could 'Trump-proof' their states, enshrining enough changes in law to provide a bulwark against the president's growing reach.
They no longer think that's possible. The depth and breadth of Congress' capitulation, coupled with a judicial branch unable or unwilling to block an increasingly powerful executive branch, have left them running out of options.
