Donegal hammer Cavan by 19 as Michael Murphy and co run riot at Breffni

By then, eight minutes before, Murphy had left to a standing ovation. And like the first half, Donegal managed a goal when the hooter had gone. Caolan McColgan, with Cavan fans headed towards the exit, smashed high into the net with Shane O'Donnell providing the assist. Cavan and Donegal face off as part of a bumper weekend in the All-Ireland Football Championship round robin. Group 1 also contains Tyrone and Mayo who lock horns this Saturday.
