Globecast to launch new Content Exchange solution at IBC 2025
The company will showcase solutions tailored to the needs of broadcasters, content owners and media organisations worldwide.
Globecast, a global leader in broadcast, media and entertainment managed services, is set to present its latest advancements in hybrid cloud technology at IBC 2025, taking place from September 12 to 15 at the Amsterdam RAI. The company will launch its new Content Exchange solution, a major addition to its Globecast Media Platform.
The Globecast Media Platform unifies content acquisition, processing and distribution services to help broadcasters and media organisations focus on content value. Within this framework, the newly launched Content Exchange is specifically designed for rightsholders, offering a scalable, flexible solution that supports the most demanding media workflows. The platform combines satellite, fiber and hybrid cloud infrastructure in an all-IP environment, enabling seamless live and on-demand content management. It serves as a secure and collaborative hub that connects content owners and rightsholders, offering new monetisation opportunities and extending global reach.
Jean-Christophe Perier, Globecast's Chief Marketing Officer, said: 'With the launch of Globecast Content Exchange, we're reimagining content transport. It empowers rightsholders with unprecedented flexibility and control over their content, while simplifying distribution across global markets. This launch marks a major milestone in Globecast's mission to support the evolving needs of the broadcast, media, and entertainment industries.'
At IBC 2025, Globecast will also highlight its role in powering major live sports broadcasts this summer, including partnerships with RACER Network and Premier Padel. RACER, which is set to broadcast over 300 live motorsport events in 2025, has teamed up with Globecast to enhance quality and streamline content delivery using advanced graphics and cloud playout. This collaboration supports the seamless integration of live and on-demand motorsport content, raising the bar for viewer experience.
Globecast's extended partnership with Premier Padel, now serving as the global delivery partner for the 2025 and 2026 seasons, underscores the company's commitment to supporting emerging sports. Using a fully IP and cloud-based distribution model, Globecast ensures reliable, high-quality delivery to audiences worldwide.
In addition to launching Content Exchange, Globecast will showcase a range of hybrid cloud services, including remote production, media asset management, TV headend, live and channel playout and video OTT solutions.
With a global presence supported by six Media Service Centers located in Los Angeles, London, Paris, Rome, Johannesburg and Singapore, along with 550 professionals across eight offices, Globecast delivers over 14,500 permanent services and supports more than 100,000 live events annually. The company continues to meet the most demanding service-level agreements through robust technologies and industry expertise, reinforcing its role as a trusted partner in the evolving media landscape.
