Amaero Provides Update to Financial Guidance, Largely Reaffirming Expectations

~ Revenue to Accelerate in Current Quarter with a Continuation of Growth into FY 2026 ~ ~ Company Expects to be EBITDA Positive in FY 2027 ~ MCDONALD, Tenn., May 28, 2025 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Amaero Ltd (ASX:3DA) (OTCQB: AMROF) ('Amaero' or the 'Company'), a leading U.S. domestic producer of high-value C103, refractory alloy, and titanium powders for additive and advanced manufacturing of components utilized by the defense, space, and aviation industries, provided an update to its financial outlook, largely reaffirming the Company's expectations. The Company now expects to achieve positive EBITDA in FY2027. In August of 2024, the Company estimated that it would achieve EBITDA breakeven in FY2026. The Company reaffirms that the planned capital investments for the 3-year period ending FY2026 is unchanged at an estimated A$72 million. In August of 2024, the Company estimated that the planned capital investments for the 3-year period of FY2024-FY2026 to equal approximately A$72 million. The Company reaffirms that following the A$36 million Export-Import Bank (EXIM) equipment financing and the A$22 million Placement, it is fully funded. In February of 2025, the Company stated that it was fully funded following the A$22 million Placement. The Company reaffirms that revenue growth is expected to accelerate in the current quarter and that revenue is expected to significantly scale in FY2026. Earlier this year, in April, the Company stated that it was positioned to transition to commercialization in FY2026, that revenue growth was expected to accelerate in the current quarter (4Q FY2025) and that revenue was expected to significantly scale in FY2026. The extended Continuing Resolution (CR) for the FY2025 congressional United States budget and the Department of Defense programs paused 'new starts' and 're-starts' has contributed to a delay in revenue and new contracts. Additionally, various hypersonic programs have advanced more slowly through research, development, testing, and evaluation (RDT&E). An updated Fairmont Consulting study estimates demand for C103 powder at approximately 93 tonnes in FY2030 versus an earlier estimate of 105 tonnes in FY2028 from February 8th, 2024. Hank J. Holland, Amaero's Chairman and CEO, commented, 'Though there is noise and volatility resulting from the United States' federal FY2025 budget and the Trump Administration's tariff and trade policy, the priority policy initiatives are explicitly aimed at re-shoring and scaling sovereign defense, manufacturing and supply chain capabilities, re-setting global trade imbalances and forcing government fiscal discipline. Amaero's mission and corporate strategy has been based on 'demand pull' and explicitly addresses critical gaps in the U.S. domestic supply chain, including production of refractory and titanium alloy spherical powder for additive manufacturing and PM-HIP manufacturing of near-net-shape parts. The team is focused on where we need to be one year and three years from now. As multinational companies seek to re-locate manufacturing and integrated supply chains to the U.S., we are two years ahead having begun re-locating Amaero to the manufacturing heartland of the United States in July 2023.' The Company has a robust and growing pipeline of long-term agreements and commercial contracts. The Company expects revenue growth to accelerate in the current quarter and a continuation of accelerated revenue growth into FY2026. Public broadcasting funding cuts could impact Baton Rouge's WRKF

BATON ROUGE, La. (Louisiana First) — Federal funding cuts threaten to impact public broadcasting nationwide, including Baton Rouge's WRKF, a non-commercial public FM radio station that has served the community for more than 40 years. General Manager Paul Maassen said WRKF receives approximately 8% of its budget—around $150,000 annually—from the Corporation for Public Broadcasting (CPB). This money is primarily allocated to local programming. 'It enables us to hire people. It enables us to buy equipment,' Maassen said. According to Maassen's March 17 letter to listeners, WRKF's funding primarily comes from donations and local business support. However, CPB funding remains critical for the station's ability to provide 'trusted local and national journalism, cultural programs, and vital emergency alert messaging' to South Louisiana. Several developments have heightened concerns over the future of public broadcasting: Sen. John Kennedy (R-LA) introduced the 'No Propaganda Act' last month, which would eliminate federal funding for NPR and PBS. During his speech on the Senate floor, Kennedy accused NPR of having an ideological, 'left-of-center' bias. FCC Commissioner Brendan Carr announced an investigation into NPR and PBS underwriting. Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) called for a congressional hearing on NPR and PBS funding. The Department of Defense recently revoked NPR's Pentagon press office access. 'They can go exist on their own if they want to, but I do want to defund them,' Kennedy said. Maassen emphasized that most of WRKF's programming is locally produced, not directly tied to NPR's national content. However, he noted that eliminating CPB funding would significantly harm local programming, which he described as 'the most expensive thing we produce.' 'We're constantly adjusting how we operate and what we do,' he said. Trump turns up the heat on public broadcasters While some lawmakers claim NPR promotes a particular agenda, media bias charts from Ad Fontes Media and AllSides offer a more nuanced perspective: Ad Fontes Media's Bias Chart rates NPR's website in the 'Middle' category of bias, with its content considered 'Reliable, Analysis/Fact Reporting.' AllSides Media Bias Company scores NPR's Opinion section as 'Lean Left' but maintains that NPR's news coverage remains mostly unbiased. Some news earlier this month could be a sigh of relief for public broadcasting in the short term. Congress recently approved a Continuing Resolution that provides $535 million in CPB funding for 2027, according to CPB CEO Patricia Harrison. In a press release, Harrison said the funding will allow CPB to 'continue to prioritize educational content and resources for families, provide essential local reporting and public safety information, and pursue technology advancements that enhance public media's connection with audiences across multiple platforms.' Maassen said he hopes the funding approval indicates continued federal support for public broadcasting, allowing WRKF to provide quality radio for the next four decades. 'CPB funding is one of those vital tools that helps us be able to do that,' he [Listener], Many listeners have asked how recent efforts to cut federal funding for public radio might affect WRKF. The Corporation for Public Broadcasting (CPB) distributes most of this funding and helps stations like ours with operations, programming, and infrastructure. While WRKF relies primarily on support from listeners and local businesses, CPB funding—8% of our budget—provides essential backing for the free, trusted local and national journalism, cultural programs, and vital emergency alert messaging that serve South Louisiana. In recent weeks, several key developments have put federal support for public radio in question: Sen. John Kennedy proposed a bill to eliminate public radio and TV funding. FCC Chairman Brendan Carr launched an investigation into NPR and PBS underwriting. The Department of Defense revoked NPR's Pentagon press office access. Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene called for a congressional hearing on NPR and PBS funding. These challenges highlight the importance of a strong strong public radio system sustained by both federal and local funding. Your support is essential. Public radio has never been more vital–or more vulnerable. We'll continue to keep you informed as this situation unfolds. You can learn more about legislative efforts and policy developments that could impact NPR, PBS, and local stations like WRKF at Protect My Public Media. If you have any questions, please get in touch with me at paul@ or (225) 926-3050, extension 122. Thank you for being part of the WRKF community. Schumer says he is not stepping down after shutdown vote pushback

Video above: House Democratic Leader Hakeem Jeffries met with Senate Democratic Leader Chuck Schumer in Brooklyn, days after Congress avoided a government shutdown in early March 2025. (The Hill) — Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-N.Y.) said he will not step down from his position amid calls for him to do so after voting to advance a GOP-crafted funding bill. During an interview on NBC's 'Meet The Press,' Schumer confirmed that he would not be stepping down from his position as Senate minority leader, noting that he expected 'a lot of controversy' for his vote to advance the House Republican-drafted funding bill, which helped avoid a government shutdown. However, Schumer said that while the Continuing Resolution (CR) was 'certainly bad,' he argued a shutdown 'would be 15 or 20 times worse.' 'Under a shutdown, the Executive Branch has sole power to determine what is, quote, 'essential,'' he said. 'And they can determine without any court supervision. The courts have ruled it's solely up to the executive what to shut down.' GOP heads into key stretch for ambitious Trump tax cut plan Schumer said leaders like President Donald Trump, Elon Musk, and OMB Director Russell Vought would 'eviscerate the federal government.' 'Here's what makes it worse. There's no off-ramp,' he added. 'Who determines how long the shutdown would last? Only those evil people at the top of the Executive Branch in the Trump administration.' Schumer has come under intense fire following his vote to advance the bill, with some critics calling for him to step down from his position, citing a lack of a clear strategy.
