The game typically has a top prize of $5,000, however, this lucky player more than quadrupled those winnings. According to press release, the customer of the Convenient Food Mart in Willoughby placed a $1 'straight' bet (numbers drawn in exact order) on four wagers and a 'box' bet (numbers drawn in any order) on a fifth wager ahead of the evening Pick 4 drawing held May 20. Man allegedly robs store after asking for job application
ELYRIA, Ohio (WJW) — A man accused of robbing a convenience store at gunpoint after initially requesting a job application is now behind bars. Elyria police responded to the Convenient Food Mart at 8703 West Ridge Road just before 7 a.m. Monday on reports of an armed robbery. After a brief conversation, the man pulled out a gun and demanded money. The employee complied and the suspect left the store with an undisclosed amount of money, according to a press release from police. Surveillance video and witness accounts helped officers develop a description of the suspect and the direction in which he fled. A Lorain County Sheriff's Office K-9 unit tracking the suspect led officers to the area of 130 Ridge Circle where 'additional evidence indicated the suspect had entered an apartment.' Franklin County man arrested over allegations of grooming preschooler After being given consent to search the residence, officers encountered multiple individuals including 35-year-old Christopher Morris, of Elyria, who was identified as the suspect. Police recovered multiple items including clothing that matched what was worn during the robbery, currency consistent with the amount stolen from the store, and a Glock-style pellet gun believed to have been used during the offense, police said.
