CHICAGO - An 18-year-old passenger was killed in a rollover crash on the Eisenhower Expressway on Saturday night when a car hit a curb. What we know The crash happened on Interstate 290 near Leavitt Street in Chicago, near the Illinois Medical District on the city's West Side, according to the Illinois State Police. Around 10 p.m., the car was traveling eastbound on the shoulder and struck the curb, causing it to roll over. The passenger was taken to an area hospital and died. The driver was not injured. The passenger was identified as Noah Alicea, 18, by the Cook County Medical Examiner's Office. What we don't know It was unclear why the car was driving on the shoulder.

CHICAGO — Authorities have identified a man who was fatally stabbed during an argument on the city's South Side on Wednesday night. According to Chicago police, the deadly incident unfolded just before 6:30 p.m. in the 2900 block of East 79th Street, in South Shore, near the border into South Chicago. Officers said the argument eventually turned physical when the perpetrator pulled out a knife and stabbed the victim in the chest. The victim was later taken to the hospital, where he died from his injuries. The Cook County Medical Examiner later identified the victim as 21-year-old Jose Castillo. Currently, it is unclear what led to the argument and a search for the individual responsible is currently underway. According to police, the victim, a female whose age is unknown, was found unresponsive at a park in the 3000 block of West Van Buren Street, in Garfield Park, just before 5 p.m. She was later pronounced dead on the scene. Chicago police seek hit-and-run driver who killed woman in Austin neighborhood

Chicago police are searching for the hit-and-run driver who struck and killed a 68-year-old woman last week in the Austin neighborhood. Pamela Lukes was crossing the street near North and Lotus avenues shortly before 8 p.m. on Feb. 24, when she was hit by a grey four-door sedan, possibly a 2007 to 2010 Hyundai Sonata, police said. Lukes was initially taken to the hospital in critical condition, but she died one week later, according to the Cook County Medical Examiner's office. On Tuesday, Police released surveillance images of the car that , and said the sedan might be missing its driver's side mirror and could have front-end damage on the driver's side. Anyone with information on the crash is asked to call the CPD Major Accident Investigation Unit at 312-745-4521.
