Rajinikanth's highly anticipated film Coolie, directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj, is scheduled to release on August 14. To build excitement ahead of its release, the team has unveiled new footage from the film and launched the song 'Coolie Powerhouse' on various audio platforms. The newly released visuals offer a glimpse of the film's most intense sequences and behind-the-scenes clips showing Rajinikanth at work on set and interacting with enthusiastic fans, even waving to the crowds. Every day, I was learning something." Coolie is billed as an action entertainer. It will see Rajinikanth in a negative‑shade role. He shares the screen with Nagarjuna Akkineni and Upendra Rao as co‑leads, while Aamir Khan appears in a cameo. The ensemble cast also features Shruti Haasan, Sathyaraj, and Soubin Shahir in key roles, with Anirudh Ravichander providing the film's music and score. The film's August 14 release coincides with Independence Day weekend, putting it in direct competition with Ayan Mukerji's War 2 starring Hrithik Roshan and Jr NTR. Meanwhile, Rajinikanth has already begun shooting for Jailer 2 under the direction of Nelson Dilipkumar. Ahead of its release, the makers have dropped new visuals from the Lokesh Kanagaraj directorial as the track 'Coolie Powerhouse' debuts on audio streaming platforms. In a post shared by the makers, the visuals promised a series of fiery moments from the Rajinikanth starrer. The BTS video had the superstar from the shooting moments, with even fans creating a frenzy, and the actor waving at them. Sharing the same, they penned the caption: 'Engengum Koraeyathu Mass (translated from Tamil, Mass will never go low).' Director Lokesh Kanagaraj had recently expressed his appreciation towards the superstar.
