'Looking good': People excited as busy Glasgow pub reopens

Coopers Bar shut its doors last month to undergo some major refurbishment works, saying "goodbye for now." The Great Western Road watering hole announced it had reopened following the works on Friday, July 11. In a post, they said: "The doors to the new-look Coopers are officially OPEN. "We cannot wait to welcome you all back to see our amazing transformation. "We hope you love the new pub as much as we do. "When will you be paying us a wee visit?" Some fans of the boozer commented on the news, one said: "Smart, good you're back. Good luck." Another was happy to see certain memorabilia for a local football team had returned, they said: "Great. Good to see the Jags stuff's there too. Be back in soon." A third had been back in on the day they reopened and gave a glowing review: "Visited yous on Friday for afternoon beverage in the sun and we ended up having such a lovely time we stayed for dinner highly recommend yous service second to none food delicious."
