Temporary on-ramp closure coming to Town of Campbell
COOPERS PLAINS, N.Y. (WETM) — People traveling to Coopers Plains on Tuesday may want to figure out a different route. The New York Department of Transportation (NYSDOT) announced that the on-ramp at the Coopers Plains exit will be temporarily closed due to work being done on the bridge.
On Tuesday, May 27, NYSDOT explained, the Interstate 86 westbound on-ramp at Exit 42 (Cooper Plains) located in the Hamlet of Cooper Plains in the Town of Campbell will be closed to all traffic so crews can work on repairing the bridge. The closure is scheduled to start at 9 a.m. on Tuesday, NYSDOT said, and is expected to run through mid-afternoon, with things wrapped up by the end of the day.
