Video: Man on motorcycle harasses Moroccan woman in Tanja
Published July 2nd, 2025 - 10:07 GMT ALBAWABA - A video of a man harassing a woman in Tanja city has crashed social media and caused a wave of anger among Moroccans. In the clip, two women were seen walking on the Corniche in Tanja city in Morocco, when a man on a motorcycle quickly passed by and slapped one of the women on her back and ran away. Tanja is witnessing widespread anger after a video of sexual harassment on the Corniche went viral, with calls to punish people involved in the incident. Moroccans have joined their voices calling on the police and authorities to hold harassers accountable and for tougher penalties in order to protect women in public places. Last year, the community in Morocco expressed anger after a video of a woman wearing a tiny skirt being harassed by a gang in public in Tanja city circulated on social media. After activists' calls to punish the harassers, the Moroccan police arrested a minor after he appeared in a shocking harassing video on Tanja street. © 2000 - 2025 Al Bawaba (
