Service station and energy company Corrib Oil is opening the country's first Wendy's fast food restaurant in Mahon Point Shopping Centre in Cork in October. "Opening the first Wendy's restaurant in Mahon Point marks a major milestone in our partnership with Wendy's," said Michael Dalton, Managing Director of Corrib Brands. "We're thrilled to bring Wendy's to Cork, offering fresh and locally sourced menu items and outstanding hospitality to local customers, who will be the first in Ireland to experience the brand," he added. Michael Clarke, Managing Director - Europe at The Wendy's Company, said that Ireland is a great market for long-term growth. "Corrib Oil's deep roots in the community and commitment to operational excellence make them an ideal partner to deliver the Wendy's 'globally great, locally even better' experience," he added. Justin Young, Centre Director of Mahon Point Shopping Centre, said that to be part of bringing the very first Wendy's restaurant to Ireland is really special.
