Brightline train, car crash on Jensen Beach Boulevard Sunday; 2 flown to hospital
JENSEN BEACH — A vehicle and Brightline train crashed on the train tracks on Jensen Beach Boulevard Sunday, resulting in two people being flown to a hospital with serious injuries, Martin County sheriff's officials said.
Fire rescue officials received a call at 12:45 p.m. and responded, according to fire rescue spokesperson Cory Pippin.

Pippin said the passengers in the car were flown to HCA Florida Lawnwood Hospital in Fort Pierce. One in critical condition and the other in serious condition. He said the 192 people aboard the Brightline train were not injured.
The cause of the crash will be determined in a crash investigation, sheriff's spokesperson Christine Christofek said.
