Luke Bryan gets hit in the face by object thrown on stage during concert

Country star Luke Bryan is handling a concert mishap "like a champ." Bryan, 49, was in the middle of an encore performance of his song "Country Girl (Shake It For Me)" at the North Dakota State Fair, when someone in the crowd hurled an object at the stage and smacked Bryan directly in the face. The moment was caught on camera by fans, with Bryan seen slightly recoiling after the hit. He flashed a quick look of surprise, but instead of stopping the show, the "American Idol" judge continued to perform as if nothing had happened. "Poor Luke Bryan got hit in the face during his encore," the caption on the fan video read on TikTok. "Carried on like a champ though." It's still unclear what exactly hit the "One Margarita" singer, with some fans speculating it was a bracelet or phone accessory, but the incident immediately lit up social media. While Bryan hasn't addressed the moment publicly, his fans came to his defense and called out the growing trend of fans throwing objects at artists mid-performance. "Whoever that was ruined the whole concert [because] he stopped so early," one disappointed fan wrote. Another comment read, "… you know he's a good guy when he takes that amount of disrespect and shrugs it off." WATCH: LUKE BRYAN HIT IN FACE BY OBJECT DURING PERFORMANCE "Shame on whoever did this," another fan wrote. Fox News Digital reached out to Bryan's representatives for comment. Bryan now joins a long list of musicians — including Harry Styles, Bebe Rexha and Kelsea Ballerini — who've been hit during live shows, sparking calls for tighter concert security and more respect from the crowd. WATCH: KELSEA BALLERINI GETS HIT IN THE FACE WITH OBJECT THROWN BY FAN AT CONCERT In 2023, Styles got directly hit in the eye while he was onstage in Vienna performing his Love on Tour concert. Rexha was first hit in the face with a cellphone, resulting in the arrest of a man and the singer getting stitches in New York City. Ballerini was the victim of a similar incident later that year. The country star sang her song, "If You Go Down," when she was hit in the eye by a bracelet. Turning her head and eventually her entire body away from the audience, Ballerini was quickly attended to by one of her band members. After several moments, Ballerini walked off-stage.

Luke Bryan fans horrified after singer was HIT in the face while performing: 'Shame on whoever did this!

Country star Luke Bryan was hit in the face by a flying object while performing at the North Dakota State Fair on Saturday. According to KFYR-TV, the American Idol judge, 49, was singing his hit song Country Girl (Shake It For Me) when he was struck by a stress ball mid-performance. A fan video shared on TikTok captured the moment Bryan paused briefly, glanced down at the ball and stared into the crowd before continuing with his set. 'Poor @Luke Bryan got hit in the face during his encore. Carried on like a champ though,' one fan wrote under the clip. Despite the unexpected interruption, Bryan maintained his composure and finished the song without missing a beat. 'There is no excuse for this,' one fan commented. Another added: 'Shame on whoever did this.' 'Who throws something at someone they paid to see?' a third asked. Others applauded Bryan's professionalism, with one viewer noting, 'Luke Bryan got hit but kept on rockin' — much respect.' Daily Mail has reached out to Bryan's representatives, but they have not yet responded. Chief Deputy Larry Hubbard of the Ward County Sheriff's Office, who oversees security at the fair, confirmed to KFYR-TV that the incident involved a small plush or stress ball. While no injuries were reported and Bryan has not issued a public statement, Hubbard said incidents like these are becoming more frequent. 'It is an issue, especially when they are throwing it at all, but when they're throwing it at the stage, at the artist. I think it paints the event in a bad light,' Hubbard said. He also noted that announcements are made before each concert, urging attendees not to throw objects. At this time, authorities have not identified the individual responsible, and there is no active investigation, as no complaints have been filed. Bryan joins a growing list of artists who've faced similar disruptions from audience members. In May, SZA walked out of a meet-and-greet after a fan threw a bracelet at her. In June 2023, Bebe Rexha was hit in the face with a cell phone during a New York concert, resulting in a cut above her eye that required stitches. That same month, a Pink concert was interrupted when a fan tossed what was reportedly a bag of their mother's ashes onto the stage. Artists like Harry Styles, Cardi B, Lil Nas X, and Drake have also been targeted mid-performance. Previously Taylor Swift spoke out about how it 'really freaks' her out when objects are thrown on her stage. 'If it's on the stage, then a dancer could trip on it,' the Cruel Summer hitmaker told an audience in Buenos Aires during a 2023 Eras Tour show. 'I love that you brought presents and that is so nice, but just, can you please not throw them on the stage? I love you so much.' Though this latest incident ended without injury, fans and event organizers alike are calling for more accountability and respect for artists.
