Morgan Wallen Blocks Himself From Charting A New No. 1

Morgan Wallen remains the undisputed king of country music at the moment. Even before dropping his latest blockbuster album I'm the Problem earlier this year, he had already earned his title as the genre's biggest name. Since its arrival, the set has taken over the Billboard charts, turning track after track into hits. This week, Wallen pulls off a relatively rare feat, as a remix of one of his album's cuts opens high — though it is blocked from the throne by a familiar rival: himself. 'Miami' Debuts at No. 2 The cut, 'Miami,' appears on I'm the Problem in its original, solo form. Wallen recently re-released it as a remix with rap heavyweights Lil Wayne and Rick Ross, turning it into a cross-genre banger. The updated version credits all three stars and launches at No. 2 on the Country Streaming Songs chart. Morgan Wallen Keeps Himself From No. 1 That start still cannot topple Wallen's own 'What I Want,' his smash with Tate McRae. That single continues its remarkable run at No. 1 on the Country Streaming Songs tally, where it has now ruled for 11 uninterrupted weeks, ever since it launched in first place more than two months ago. Morgan Wallen's Career Stats Across his career, Wallen has now sent 80 tracks to the Country Streaming Songs chart. More than half of those tunes — 43 titles — have reached the top 10. From that bunch, the Grammy nominee has collected 18 No. 1s, and he almost snagged his nineteenth this week. Lil Wayne and Rick Ross Score a Career First For Wayne and Ross, 'Miami' earns the two hip-hop powerhouses a very important debut. Neither rapper has ever appeared on the Country Streaming Songs tally before, and now they're withing striking distance of the highest space. 'Miami' Becomes a Sales Smash Beyond its immediate popularity on streaming platforms, 'Miami' also proves to be a powerful seller. The track starts at No. 1 on the Country Digital Song Sales chart and at No. 9 on the all-genre Digital Song Sales ranking. On the multi-metric Hot Country Songs chart, 'Miami' rockets from No. 46 to a new high of No. 5. It also reenters the Hot 100 at No. 21 and the Streaming Songs chart at No. 9, which are both new bests for the tune. Another Milestone in Morgan Wallen's Blockbuster Year The 'Miami' remix adds another win to Wallen's 2025 streak. I'm the Problem has already spun off a string of smashes, with all of them driven by streaming power and steady sales. Wallen's decision to tap Wayne and Ross for 'Miami' follows a growing trend in country music. Hits from Beyoncé's Cowboy Carter era, Kane Brown's work with pop and R&B stars, and Bailey Zimmerman's recent collaborations with names like BigXThaPlug have shown that bridging genres can yield meaningful results on the charts.

Morgan Wallen's Latest Chart Feat Proves His Streaming Power

It's now been two months since Morgan Wallen released his latest album, I'm the Problem. In the weeks since that huge full-length arrived, the project has continued to dominate a number of Billboard charts, while the dozens of songs featured on its tracklist have remained massively popular. I'm the Problem continues to sell well, but the lengthy collection is performing especially well on streaming platforms. Millions of plays per week translate to incredible success on some of Billboard's streaming-only tallies, especially the one that's focused entirely on country music. Morgan Wallen Dominates the Country Streaming Songs Chart On the current edition of the Country Streaming Songs chart, Wallen occupies the highest four spaces — all with tracks from I'm the Problem. He has managed this feat before, so while it's not exactly historic, it is impressive that the country singer-songwriter has repeated the accomplishment months after the album's debut. "What I Want" Still at No. 1 After 10 Weeks "What I Want," Wallen's collaboration with Tate McRae, holds at No. 1 yet again. In the 10 weeks that the duet has spent on the Country Streaming Songs chart, it has yet to slip from the highest position. Both "Just in Case" and "I'm the Problem" are steady at Nos. 2 and 3, respectively, though both have previously conquered the ranking as well. Wallen manages to own the entire top four, as "I Got Better" swaps spots with "A Bar Song (Tipsy)" by Shaboozey. "I Got Better" returns to its all-time peak of No. 4, while "A Bar Song (Tipsy)" dips to No. 5, which is still a notable placement for a tune that has now spent 67 weeks on the Country Streaming Songs chart. Morgan Wallen Claims 11 Smashes Looking at the entirety of the top 10, Wallen occupies 60% of all available real estate. "I Had Some Help" – one of his collaborations with Post Malone, which fronted the latter act's first country full-length, F-1 Trillion – and Wallen's own "20 Cigarettes" are steady at Nos. 7 and 9, respectively. Wallen currently claims 11 spaces on the 25-rung Country Streaming Songs chart, with a mix of new releases from I'm the Problem as well as older tunes like "Last Night" and "Cowgirls" with Ernest.
