Woman wanted on federal warrant arrested in East El Paso
EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — A woman who had a federal warrant out for her arrest led law enforcement on a short pursuit on Monday, May 19, in East El Paso, according to the El Paso County Constable's Office for Precinct 3. The Constable's Office says a sergeant saw a 2018 Audi traveling northbound at the 1100 block of North Yarbrough that Monday and attempted to stop the vehicle for a traffic violation. The vehicle, which was being driven by Yahima Maria Sinatra, 33, disregarded the sergeant and fled northbound. The County Constable's Office says the vehicle came to a rest at a parking lot on the 2100 block of North Yarbrough after hitting a median. Sinatra exited the vehicle and fled westbound across Yarbrough on foot. She was apprehended a short time later. The County Constable's Office says a male passenger also fled from the vehicle and was not found. Officials discovered that Sinatra had a federal warrant for harboring undocumented migrants. Sinatra was turned over to U.S. Marshal deputies for booking. Methamphetamine and marijuana were found inside the vehicle, the Constable's Office said. Constable's Office: Man arrested on money laundering warrants in East El Paso
EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — A 31-year-old man was arrested on Thursday, April 17, in East El Paso for multiple active criminal warrants, including money laundering, according to the El Paso County Constable's Office Precinct 3. David King Paiz, 31, was arrested on three charges of money laundering, one charge of bingo regulations and one charge of engaging in organized criminal activity that totaled to a $100,000 bond, according to the Constable's Office. In addition, Paiz was also charged with assault family violence with a $10,000 bond, according to the Constable's Office. According to the Constable's Office, Paiz was located at the 10800 block of Saigon Drive and was charged with the warrants. He was then taken into custody without further incident and booked into the El Paso County Jail. Paiz was originally arrested last year by the Texas Office of the Attorney General, the Constable's Office said. Montgomery County: Woman arrested after child pornography investigation, officials say
The Brief Larri Gardner has been charged with Possession of Child Pornography. Detectives started an investigation in December 2024 regarding "sexual assault material regarding infants and toddlers." Garnder is being held on a $100,000 bond. MONTGOMERY COUNTY - A woman has been arrested and charged after a monthslong investigation regarding child pornography, according to Montgomery County officials. What we know According to the Precinct 3 Montgomery County Constable's Office, Larri Lane Gardner is facing charges of Possession of Child Pornography. She was booked into the Montgomery County Sheriff's Office jail, where she is being held on a $100,000 bond. Detectives with the Precinct 3 office's Internet Crimes Against Children unit started an investigation in December 2024. Officials say the investigation focused on "the possession and distribution of child sexual assault material involving infants and toddlers." Gardner was allegedly identified as the person responsible for possessing and distributing that material. Officials say they executed a search warrant at Gardner's home. She was then found and arrested. What we don't know There is no information on any evidence leading to Gardner's arrest. Gang member arrested after fleeing from deputy in South-Central El Paso, Constable says
EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — A gang member was arrested on Tuesday, Feb. 25, after he allegedly tried to flee from a constable sergeant deputy in South Central El Paso, according to the El Paso County Constable's Office Precinct Three. The County Constable's Office says a sergeant saw registered sex offender and reputed 'Gangster Disciple of Chicago' gang member James Robert Stiver, 38, walking towards the middle of the street at the 100 block of S. Awbrey. The sergeant then attempted to detain Stiver for the charge of a pedestrian walking on a roadway. Stiver then fled on foot and ran into a canal area, according to the County Constable's Office. Stiver was then located shortly after. The sergeant then ran Stiver's name for warrants and came back wanted for an active parole warrant for unauthorized use of a vehicle issued by the Texas Board of Pardons and Paroles. Stiver had reportedly escaped from the El Paso Transitional Center in Horizon City back on Feb. 12, according to the County Constable's Office.
