Police ID teen fatally stabbed in Toronto's east end on weekend
Social Sharing Toronto police have identified a 14-year-old boy fatally stabbed in the city's east end on the weekend. Abdoul Aziz Sarr, of Toronto, was stabbed near a fast food restaurant on Saturday in the area of Eastern and Woodward avenues, near Coxwell Avenue. Police were called about the stabbing at about 10:10 p.m. In a news release Monday, police said paramedics were flagged down first and police were notified shortly afterward. Officers arrived to find the teen injured. He was taken to hospital, where he was pronounced dead. Sarr is the city's 19th homicide victim of the year. No suspect information has been released. Anyone with information is urged to contact police.

Man dead after fatal stabbing near Toronto's Woodbine Park
A man has died following a late-night stabbing near Toronto's Woodbine Park, police say. In a post to social media, officials say officers responded to reports of a stabbing at around 10:10 p.m. in the Eastern Avenue and Coxwell Avenue area. When they arrived, police say they located a male victim at the scene with injuries. He was then transported to hospital via emergency run, where he was later pronounced dead. Toronto police say their Homicide Unit has been notified and that they will provide an update later this morning at 10:30 a.m. No suspect information has been released but police note an investigation is ongoing. Motorcyclist hospitalized after crash at Coxwell and Danforth
Motorcyclist taken to hospital following a collision with a vehicle Friday June 4, 2025 (CP24 photo/Jacob Estrin). Toronto police say a motorcyclist was taken to hospital following a collision with a vehicle Friday evening. Officials say the crash occurred at around 8:35 p.m. in the area of Coxwell Avenue and Danforth Avenue. The driver of the vehicle remained at the scene. Shortly after 10 p.m. police say paramedics transported the motorcyclist to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. Drivers were advised to expect traffic delays in the area as police responded.

50-year-old Toronto man wanted for repeated harassment and uttering threats, police say
50-year-old Oral Cohen, of Toronto is accused of repeatedly harassing a woman at her home in the city's east end, Toronto police say (TPS photos). Toronto police are searching for a man accused of repeatedly harassing a woman at her home in the city's east end. In a news release issued Friday, officer say they were called to the area of Coxwell Avenue and Hanson Street at around 9 p.m. Police say the suspect allegedly showed up at the victim's house and harassed her multiple times before fleeing the scene. The suspect is identified as 50-year-old Oral Cohen, of Toronto. He is wanted on four charges including harassment by watching and besetting, uttering threats to cause bodily harm, harassment by repeated communication, and harassment by threatening conduct to another person. Cohen is described as between five-foot-eight and five-foot-10, with an average build, bald, and having short grey facial hair. Anyone with information on his whereabouts is asked to contact investigators or Crime Stoppers anonymously.
