A major pub chain is celebrating its tenth birthday by giving away pints this week. A total of 40 Craft Union boozers will be handing out the free drinks on Wednesday (May 14), with 10,000 pints up for grabs. The celebrations go further: each pub will also be donating 10p to charity from every pint sold on the day, while there's a £10,000 cash giveaway for one lucky customer. Since Craft Union opened its first site back in 2015, the Market Tavern in Stoke-on-Trent, the pub company has grown to number 637 around the country. Frazer Grimbleby, managing director at Craft Union, said: 'We're proud to be marking our 10th anniversary with three initiatives to give back to our guests as a thank you for how they have supported Craft Union over the last decade. 'We're delighted to have raised more than one million pounds for local causes in the last 12 months, and we are incredibly grateful to our guests for their unwavering support and enthusiasm in raising funds for charities - so what better way to show our appreciation than a drink on us.'
