Fleming named Bristol City assistant head coach
Bristol City have appointed Craig Fleming as their new assistant head coach to work alongside Gerhard Struber. Fleming has most recently been working on the coaching staff at Bundesliga side VfL Wolfsburg with former Southampton manager Ralph Hasenhüttl. The 53-year-old was also Hasenhuttl's assistant during his four years at Saints between 2018-2022, and has also worked as a coach in Derby's academy. The former defender retired from playing in 2008, having captained Norwich City and also had spells at Oldham, Halifax, Rotherham and Wolves. "I am very pleased to have Craig join the coaching staff. He has a lot of experience at the highest level and knows how we want to play," Struber said. "We are looking forward to working together."
