Dolly Parton says she could show up to Beyoncé's Cowboy Carter Tour. The 79-year-old country music legend was "very honoured" when the Single Ladies hitmaker, 43, remade her 1973 classic - but with a "twist" where she warns Jolene to stay clear of her man. While performing in Chicago over the weekend, Beyoncé recreated her iconic 'Crazy In Love' outfit on her 'Cowboy Carter' tour, hitting the stage in a rhinestone-covered take on the simple look. In the famous 2003 music video, the Grammy-winning musician, who was just 21 at the time, struts her stuff in a sparkly Prada tank top, J Brand low-rise denim hot pants and bright red Stuart Weitzman heels. Styled by Shiona Turini, her performance getup on Saturday was much more glitzy. The superstar, 43, shimmered in a custom white embellished tank top and denim short shorts adorned with royal blue gems from Sami Miro. She kept the denim going, stepping on stage in custom slouchy knee-high boots by Loewe. Beyoncé rounded out the sparkly performance outfit with equally dazzling diamond-encrusted David Koma earrings ($1,200) in the shape of a buckle. Though the Cécred founder wore her hair straight in the beloved music video, she opted for long voluminous curls during her Saturday night performance. The early aughts clip's stylist, Ty Hunter, reflected on the iconic outfit in a 2023 interview with Vogue. 'The tank actually has rhinestones on it, which not many people know,' he said. 'I remember pulling it at the showroom — it was the last thing I grabbed.' And there's a reason they went with the white top and denim shorts mash-up. 'We wanted to do something that the kids could emulate and copy,' Hunter revealed. 'Everything we did prior to that was so big and so glamorous, so we wanted to strip it down into something that the kids could emulate. That was important to Beyoncé.' There's been no shortage of fabulous designer looks on the 'Cowboy Carter' tour, which kicked off in Los Angeles last month. Thus far, she's rocked custom pieces from Mugler, Burberry, Dolce & Gabbana and more storied fashion houses. And, she even has her own daughter emulating pieces from her past, with 13-year-old Blue Ivy joining her on stage for a large portion of the show in similar looks.

Tina Knowles doesn't want granddaughter Blue Ivy Carter to chase a career in entertainment
Tina Knowles hopes Blue Ivy Carter "doesn't go into entertainment". The 71-year-old fashion designer - whose daughter is Beyonce - is proud that Blue Ivy, 13, for getting up on stage herself on the 'Crazy In Love' hitmaker's 'Cowboy Carter' tour, but she doesn't want it to lead to her following in her famous mother's footsteps. She told Extra: "My wish for her is that I wish that she would do something else. I hope that she doesn't go into entertainment. 'I think it's a huge sacrifice. It's a huge sacrifice on your life. But if she chooses to do it, I'm going be right up front screaming and cheering. "But hopefully she'll choose something else, but what I do know? And that's why her mom let her do it, is because she got her confidence there. And it's beautiful to see." Tina pointed out that Blue's seven-year-old sister Rumi - who Beyonce also has with husband Jay-Z -has also loved getting to join her mother and sibling on stage during the recent run. She added: "Little Rumi also, she told us every night during Renaissance, 'I'm ready. I'm ready to go out there,' and we were like, 'Okay, next time.' "And this time, her mom let her go and it's wonderful to see her out there. 'They need to let her let loose 'cause she is back there doing choreography and twirling and doing all pliés and everything else. And I'm like, 'Let her loose one night!' ' Despite her reservations about Blue or Rumi chasing a career in music, Tina is delighted to see Blue gaining confidence by the day. She said: "Well, it's the best, because at the end of the day, the most important bonus of that is I just see the confidence just growing every day. 'Blue is tall, she's like 5'9', and she's 13 years old… and I would always say, 'Stand tall because your grandma always wanted to be tall.' "And she would still kind of slump a little bit, and now we got the model pose and she is strutting and she is confident and that's the most important thing to me.'
