Anthony Joshua 'set to swap the ring for the silver screen as he's flooded with offers from Hollywood and pal Michael B. Jordan begs boxer to star in Creed 4'
He's already one of the biggest stars in the ring. And now Anthony Joshua could be set to make his mark in Hollywood, as he's reportedly been approached to appear in a whopping four blockbusters. While the two-time heavyweight world champion, 35, hasn't suggested he'll hang up his boxing gloves any time soon, he is said to have been flooded with offers to take up a career in the movies 'if the time is right'. Movie star and close friend to Anthony, Michael B. Jordan, is reported one of those clamouring to cast the boxer, eager for him to appear in the fourth Creed film. According to The Sun, one his pals revealed: 'AJ is fully committed to training right up until the moment he retires from boxing but offers from Hollywood are already pouring in. 'He can't devote the time to extra projects at the moment but his team are mulling over the offers to see what he could take on if the time was right. Movie star and close friend to Anthony, Michael B. Jordan, is reported one of those clamouring to cast the boxer, eager for him to appear in the fourth Creed film (pictured in Creed) 'AK has already been approached to star in four major films, with top acting agents all clamouring to sign him. His good friend Michael B. Jordan is also keen for him to appear in Creed 4 and will do anything to make it work. The future is really bright.' While they also hinted that Anthony could even be in within a chance to play the 'next James Bond'. And the insider also told the publication that the sports star has been approached about working behind-the-scenes as well, by making a move into executive producing, like Cristiano Ronaldo. Anthony already owns a production firm, SBX Studios, which has produced content for brands such as Hugo Boss, Lucozade, Under Armour, and Turkish Airlines, and created content for figures such as Raheem Sterling and Mo Farah. Last year, it was reported that his company was eyeing up making a biopic on Luke Littler, putting down a multi-million pound bid to secure permission to adapt the darts star's story. Meanwhile, Anthony hinted at his acting career aspirations earlier this month, by joining forces with Creed star Michael, 38. The pair teamed up to surprise young aspiring actors from Watford with a once-in-a-lifetime acting workshop, organised through Anthony's community charity, Clean Herts Community (CHC). As he's currently busy training in Nigeria, AJ video-called into the session via Zoom and teased a surprise guest. In a video he shared on his social media, the students could be seen erupting into scream and cheers as Michael walked into the room. Joining him was fellow actor Jack O'Connell, and together they offered invaluable advice, shared behind-the-scenes stories from the film industry, and helped the young performers hone their craft. The young actors were later invited to attend the red carpet premiere of Sinners, Michael and Jack's latest film, at London's Leicester Square. The workshop is the latest in a series of initiatives from CHC, which aims to create meaningful opportunities for young people in Anthony's hometown of Watford. This year alone, the charity has hosted football camps, cooking classes, and science workshops, and even teamed up with Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson in November to involve Watford youth in the launch of his Christmas blockbuster Red One. The Creed franchise is a spin-off from the legendary Rocky film series starring Sylvester Stallone, with Michael taking over in playing the titular role. The first movie was released back in 2015, and was followed by two sequels in 2018 and 2023, all receiving rave reviews and bringing in millions at the box office and Michael has confirmed that a fourth film in on its way, with him returning to direct. Last year, Anthony revealed that Rocky was his favourite movie of all time when being interviewed by nine year old Josie Bell for children's current affairs magazine The Week Junior. He explained: It's about a guy who has potential. But he has to become his own hero. It's a really good story about a guy who becomes a famous boxer.'

As well as being approached to try his hand at acting, my insider said the boxer was also talking to various people about moving into financing films, a similar move to footballer Cristiano Ronaldo. They added: 'Aj has a powerful voice and is incredibly popular. 'He has been approached about the prospect of executive producing films and helping to finance them. Nothing is off the table.' He made his ambitions away from the ring clear earlier this month, when he joined Creed star Michael at an acting workshop organised by the boxer's community charity Clean Herts Community. Hamilton star Samuel Sarpong-Broni and actor Jack O'Connell were also at the event, which was put on to inspire the next generation of British acting stars. Aj surprised them with an invite to the premiere of Michael's film Sinners, which also features Jack, last week. Anthony Joshua vs Jake Paul is 'five times' bigger than Tyson Fury bout Aj's charity, which helps young people from a number of different backgrounds, means a huge amount to him. At Christmas he headed down to Watford General Hospital to hand out gifts to the staff and patients. He's also used the organisation to launch a number of physical and educational programs, from football camps to cooking and science classes in his hometown. He's a proper good egg.

Creed 4 Release Date Gets Disappointing Update From Michael B. Jordan
Ever since the release of Creed 3, fans have been waiting for an update on the next installment's arrival, but to no avail. While , who leads the franchise as Adonis Creed, has come out to share some details on the release date, they certainly don't fall on the positive end of the spectrum. According to the Black Panther actor, he is more than willing to add another part to the fan-favorite film series, but only if certain conditions stand. In a recent discussion, Michael B. Jordan opened up about the possibilities of Creed 4, teasing the project's release date. While talking with GQ, the seasoned actor admitted that there is room to extend the Creed franchise. However, he emphasized that he would not come on board just for the sake of it. 'Yeah, the fourth one, eventually, not sure when, but we left that door open to build on that franchise. My thing is like, I don't wanna make a movie just to make it, give it a little time to breathe, make people want it, miss it a little bit. And when the time is right, I'll drop in and do another one,' Jordan noted. A spin-off of the famous Rocky franchise, the first Creed film hit theatres in 2015 and instantly garnered praise from audiences and critics alike. It put Michael B. Jordan's Adonis Creed, the son of the legendary Apollo Creed, at the center of things as he attempts to follow in his father's footsteps to become a professional boxer. Creed also featured the much-awaited return of Sylvester Stallone's Rocky Balboa, who serves as Adonis' mentor. As conveyed by Michael B. Jordan, a sequel to Creed 3 could still happen in the near future. However, with no official word on the project, fans should not expect an update on Creed 4's release date anytime soon.
