Creed 4 Release Date Gets Disappointing Update From Michael B. Jordan

Yahoo14-02-2025

Ever since the release of Creed 3, fans have been waiting for an update on the next installment's arrival, but to no avail. While , who leads the franchise as Adonis Creed, has come out to share some details on the release date, they certainly don't fall on the positive end of the spectrum. According to the Black Panther actor, he is more than willing to add another part to the fan-favorite film series, but only if certain conditions stand.
In a recent discussion, Michael B. Jordan opened up about the possibilities of Creed 4, teasing the project's release date.
While talking with GQ, the seasoned actor admitted that there is room to extend the Creed franchise. However, he emphasized that he would not come on board just for the sake of it. 'Yeah, the fourth one, eventually, not sure when, but we left that door open to build on that franchise. My thing is like, I don't wanna make a movie just to make it, give it a little time to breathe, make people want it, miss it a little bit. And when the time is right, I'll drop in and do another one,' Jordan noted.
A spin-off of the famous Rocky franchise, the first Creed film hit theatres in 2015 and instantly garnered praise from audiences and critics alike. It put Michael B. Jordan's Adonis Creed, the son of the legendary Apollo Creed, at the center of things as he attempts to follow in his father's footsteps to become a professional boxer. Creed also featured the much-awaited return of Sylvester Stallone's Rocky Balboa, who serves as Adonis' mentor.
As conveyed by Michael B. Jordan, a sequel to Creed 3 could still happen in the near future. However, with no official word on the project, fans should not expect an update on Creed 4's release date anytime soon.

Why Did [Spoiler] Get Arrested in General Hospital?

In the June 5 episode of General Hospital, a key character's downward spiral hit a new low as they were arrested. While the day started with tension and emotional confrontations, it ended with Natalia Ramirez getting handcuffed. The arrest didn't come out of nowhere because it was the result of a long buildup of personal and public failures that have left Natalia isolated, unstable, and desperate. Natalia got arrested for a drunk driving (DUI) incident, however, the real story lies in the emotional breakdown that led her there. Natalia, drowning her sorrows in alcohol, had a heated argument with her son, Marco, at the Metro Court pool. Marco had demanded she behave nicely with Lucas, but she didn't pay heed to that. Instead, she was more focused on asking him to convince his sister to forgive her. However, Marco asked her to leave him and his half-sister, Blaze, alone, refusing to help mend their fractured relationship. Feeling isolated, Natalia turned to Sonny Corinthos for comfort. He offered kind words, suggesting Marco might eventually forgive her. But instead of heeding his advice, Natalia made a reckless call to her ex-husband, Jenz Sidwell, declaring he owed her and she was coming to collect. Before she could follow through, however, she was pulled over and arrested for driving under the influence. For more context, Natalia's recent breakdowns and struggles are happening because of her strained relationship with her two children, Marco and Blaze. Earlier, during Pride Month, Natalia made homophobic remarks about the LGBTQ+ community, even mocking Blaze's relationship with Kristina. Unbeknownst to her, Ava recorded the offensive comments and leaked them, leading to a public scandal. Blaze, devastated by her mother's betrayal, fired Natalia as her manager. The fallout damaged Blaze's career, with Deception nearly dropping her, and her record label severing ties. Meanwhile, Marco, who is openly gay, has repeatedly clashed with Natalia over her bigotry. Chappell Roan Reflects on Being Labeled a ‘Villain'

Chappell Roan is making no apologies. While serving as a guest alongside Sasha Colby on an episode of TS Madison's Outlaws posted Monday (May 19), the pop star opened up about embracing her 'villain' era after speaking out about toxic fan behavior last year. And while she was feeling candid, Roan also slammed a particular pop-culture update account. On the topic of her public image, the Missouri native first quipped that she's 'had like three' villain eras since skyrocketing to fame in 2024 following the success of Billboard Hot 100 hit 'Good Luck, Babe!' 'I was the new girl in the pop game, where I was like, 'I don't give a f–k what you say to these girls who have been doing this since they were 10,' she began on the podcast. 'I did not get famous until I was 26, so I had a lot of time to realize, 'Oh, this is what it's like to be an adult and how to be respected in a job.'' 'People on the news treat me worse than how customers did. And I think when I started to say, 'Don't talk to me like that' … That doesn't mean that I'm a villain or ungrateful for what I have. It's like, 'Why is this customary?'' Roan went on to compare how certain fans have treated her to the way 'people were so evil' to stars such as Britney Spears, Lindsay Lohan and Paris Hilton in the past. 'That behavior is still, they're still doing it. … Do you want me to just get to the point where I become agoraphobic? Or so stressed out or so anxious to perform?' she said. 'You want me to get to that point? Because if I don't say anything, I will. If I do not stand up for myself, I will quit because I cannot bear this. I cannot bear people touching me who I don't know. I cannot bear people following me.' 'I cannot bear people saying I'm something I'm not,' she added. 'That's what's really hard online. People just assume you're the villain.' The interview comes about nine months after Roan first made headlines for addressing what she saw as 'predatory' fan behavior, calling out obsessive listeners who would touch her without permission or stalk her whereabouts. Her posts on the subject sparked a wider discussion on stan culture and the sacrifices celebrities must make to be in the public eye. Though many sympathized with Roan, others were quick to deem her ungrateful. Regardless, the 'Pink Pony Club' musician has previously said that her experiences in public have improved drastically since she said her piece. 'I think people are scared of me,' Roan said on Call Her Daddy in March. 'I think I made a big enough deal about not talking to me that people do not talk to me. I've been with people, like, friends who are artists, and when they're with me, they're like, 'It's a force field around us. People don't come up to me if I'm with you.'' But now that she's washed her hands of toxic fan treatment, Roan has a few other things she'd like to see 'banned.' While playing a game of 'Ban It, B—h!' on Outlaws, the Grammy winner said she's had enough of people's hot takes — 'I don't care. … You don't know what you're talking about' — as well as cork shoes and a widely followed pop culture account on X. 'Pop Crave,' she said on the show. 'Ban it!' Listen to Roan on Outlaws below.
