'After more than 15 years in public service, it's time for my next chapter,' McCormack said, without disclosing his next move.
A spokesperson for the US attorney's office said McCormack left to pursue a new role in private practice.

As the interim US attorney, Creegan is tasked with supervising federal criminal prosecutions and serving as the federal government's attorney in civil litigation in New Hampshire. Her office includes about 54 prosecutors, civil litigators, and other staffers.
Creegan previously worked as a DOJ prosecutor, including as an associate deputy attorney general and a prosecutor in the counterterrorism section in Washington, D.C., according to the announcement.
