Boston police seeking public's help identifying individual in connection with an armed robbery
The Boston Police Department is asking for the public's help in identifying a person involved in an armed robbery. Police released these photos of the individual: The individual can be seen wearing a gray New England Patriots hoodie, black pants, gloves, and a face mask. According to police, the incident occurred on May 19 around 7:02 AM, when the individual entered the Quincy Variety Store in the area of 236 Quincy Street. The individual then proceeded to take an undisclosed amount of money from the cash register, exit the store, and walked across Quincy Street on Magnolia Street towards Kineo Street. Boston Police are currently investigating the incident. Anyone with any information on the incident is encouraged to call 911 or District B-2 Detectives at 617-343-4275. Woman sexually assaulted in North End home, Boston police seek suspect
A woman was sexually assaulted inside her home in the North End of Boston on Wednesday night and law enforcement is asking the public for help in identifying the suspect. The incident happened at around 10:53 p.m. on Margaret Street in the North End neighborhood, according to the department, the Boston Police Department said. A woman was entering her home when a man came up behind her and sexually assaulted her inside her residence. He then ran from the building on foot, police said. The suspect has been described as a Black man who was wearing a black hoodie. Anyone with information related to the incident is urged to contact the Boston Police Department at 617-343-4400. Man dead following shooting in Dorchester, police say
A man is dead after a shooting in Dorchester on Saturday night. According to Boston Police, around 11 p.m., officers responded to call for a person shot in the area of Blue Hill Avenue and Georgia Street. Upon arrival, officers located an adult male victim suffering from a gunshot wound. Boston EMS transported the victim to Boston Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead. Allston man arrested and charged with murder after woman is found dead in apartment
Arresting officers recovered 'at least one weapon,' police said Monday night. When officers arrived at an apartment on Glenville Avenue they found the woman's body and encountered Riaz who 'fled through a window ... and led officers on a foot chase through several yards and streets,' Boston Police Deputy Superintendent Paul McLaughlin told reporters. Advertisement Officers deployed their Tasers during the chase, McLaughlin said. They arrested Riaz when he attempted to steal a car, authorities said. Riaz is expected to be arraigned in the Brighton division of Boston Municipal Court on charges of murder, armed carjacking, and resisting arrest, police said. Police did not release the name of the woman who was killed. She is holding an unidentifiable object in her hands. The vandalism of the Tesla vehicle happened on Sunday at 10 O Street in South Boston, police said. Sunday's incident is among several reported incidents of vandalism of Tesla vehicles in the region, with attacks directed at Tesla vehicles and dealerships. Last month, multiple Cybertrucks were vandalized at a Tesla dealership along Route 1 in Dedham. The FBI has created a task force to crack down on the crimes, with Attorney General Pam Bondi describing the attacks as 'domestic terrorism.' Police are investigating.
