Albania Star To Leave Inter Milan This Summer – Ex Napoli Midfielder Could Also Depart
Kristjan Asllani is set to leave Inter Milan this summer transfer window, while Piotr Zielinski could follow him out the exit door. This according to today's print edition of Milan-based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, via FCInterNews. Inter Milan are mulling over the future of their midfield. The arrival of Cristian Chivu will herald a change in formation. The Nerazzurri will play with two holding midfielders and two attacking midfielders, rather than a midfield trio. One player who will have little place in this new system is Kristjan Asllani. The 23-year-old former Empoli midfielder has been at Inter for three seasons. However, he has never fully convinced as a backup to Hakan Calhanoglu or Marcelo Brozovic in holding midfield. Furthermore, Asllani's style of play does not really suit what Chivu will want from his central midfielders. Therefore, there is little doubt that Inter want to offload Asllani this summer. Nevertheless, the Gazzetta reports, Asllani has so far rejected the possibility of a move outside Serie A. The Albanian wants to stay in the Italian top flight if he leaves Inter. (Photo by) According to the Gazzetta, the situation of Piotr Zielinski at Inter is more ambiguous than that of Asllani. The Polish international just joined Inter last summer from Napoli. However, it was a disappointing first season at the San Siro for Zielinski. Injuries certainly played a role in restricting the 31-year-old's impact. Considering Zielinski's age, and his high wages (€4.5 million net per season) Inter may decide to offload the midfielder. If they can find a buyer, that is. On the other hand, reports the Gazzetta, Zielinski's tactical versatility could be a major factor in favour of his staying at Inter. The Pole can play anywhere from holding midfield to attacking midfielder. That could certainly be a useful asset as Cristian Chivu looks to change the system in midfield.

€35M Rated Parma Turns Down Premier League Move – Only Wants Inter Milan
Parma defender Giovanni Leoni has turned down the possibility of moving to the Premier League, as he only wants Inter Milan. This according to today's print edition of Rome-based newspaper Corriere dello Sport, via FCInterNews. They report that the Nerazzurri could still cobble together the funds to make a €35 million offer for Leoni. For the last several weeks, Inter have been heavily linked with Parma defender Giovanni Leoni. Reportedly, the 19-year-old is the player the Nerazzurri see as ideal for the long-term future of their defense. Furthermore, the fact that Leoni had worked with coach Cristian Chivu last season has further bumped him up Inter's list of targets. However, the price tag for Leoni would be quite high. Reportedly, Parma are holding out for as much as €40 million to sell the teenage defender. (Photo by) Inter are not the only club to show an interest in Leoni's signature. Their major domestic rivals Juventus and AC Milan are also keen on the teenage defender. Meanwhile, there is also some interest in the cash-rich Premier League. Reportedly all of Liverpool, Tottenham Hotspur, and Newcastle United are eyeing up a move. However, reports the Corriere dello Sport, Leoni himself has little interest in a switch to the English top flight. Instead, the newspaper report, the 19-year-old has a preference to move to Inter. The fact that Leoni worked with Cristian Chivu is the decisive factor. He believes that the Nerazzurri are the right project for him to take the next step. Therefore, the key question is whether Inter will have the funds to make Parma an offer – especially after what has already been an ambitious summer of spending for them. As the Corriere note, Inter have already sold the likes of Aleksandar Stankovic and Tajon Buchanan for a little under €20 million. Meanwhile, the Nerazzurri have also received small fees for Lucien Agoume, Filip Stankovic, and Georgios Vagiannidis. Furthermore, Inter are still looking to offload all of Kristjan Asllani, Sebastiano Esposito, Mehdi Taremi, and Tomas Palacios. Therefore, the Corriere report, Inter believe they will be ready to make a €35 million offer to Parma for Leoni before the end of the transfer window.

Italian Journalist Reveals: ‘Leoni Is An Inter Milan Target – With These Three Departures'
Journalist Fabrizio Biasin says that Parma's Giovanni Leoni is a target for Inter Milan, but only with sales. Biasin writes in TuttoMercatoWeb that the Nerazzurri are considering the 19-year-old as a long-term replacement for Francesco Acerbi, Stefan de Vrij, and Matteo Darmian. (Photo by) Italian journalist Fabrizio Biasin writes 'As far as Leoni? He's still a target for Inter.' 'But before making an offer to Parma, the Nerazzurri want to free up space in their squad,' he adds. 'Which primarily means bringing in the cash necessary to make a fair offer for him.' Biasin then explains that 'Marotta and Ausilio want to give Chivu an extra defender to develop, in anticipation of the likely double- or triple-exit in the summer of 2026 (Acerbi, de Vrij, Darmian).' 'But these are all matters that they'll only consider once the Lookman soap opera is over. That's the top priority right now.'

Report – Inter Milan Struggle To Offload Poland & Albania Stars This Summer
Inter Milan are reportedly struggling to offload midfielders Piotr Zielinski and Kristjan Asllani this summer. This according to today's print edition of Turin-based newspaper Tuttosport, via FCInterNews. Inter Milan are thinking about a shakeup in midfield, according to Tuttosport. The aim would be to bring in a player suitable for the central positions in the 3-4-2-1 formation that coach Cristian Chivu is aiming to transition the team to playing. Therefore, the Nerazzurri want a physical, dynamic player with strong tackling and ball-winning ability. A midfielder who can cover extra ground behind the attack. (Photo by) Two players who would have little place in Inter's new-look midfield are Piotr Zielinski and Kristjan Asllani. Both of the two midfielders offer plenty in possession. However, where there are doubts is in the pair's physicality and presence off the ball. Therefore, Inter are reportedly looking to part ways with Zielinski and Asllani and sign a different profile of midfielder. Doing so won't be easy though. While Zielinski's quality is hardly in doubt, the 31-year-old's age and wages makes finding a buyer tricky. Meanwhile, Kristjan Asllani has rejected a move to Real Betis this summer. Inter will therefore have to find a solution that the Albanian is happy with.

Report – Inter Milan Open To Greenlighting Germany Defender Transfer To Crystal Palace For €40M
Serie A giants Inter Milan reportedly plan to let Yann Bisseck join Crystal Palace in a €40 million deal this summer. According to Sky Sport via FCInterNews, the Nerazzurri are open to negotiating the German's exit. Yann Bisseck has found himself on the chopping block after Simone Inzaghi's departure. Indeed, new boss Cristian Chivu wants to revamp his defensive options ahead of the new season. Therefore, Inter have set their sights on Genoa's Koni De Winter and Parma's Giovanni Leoni. Inter Milan Open to Selling Yann Bisseck to Crystal Palace LEVERKUSEN, GERMANY – DECEMBER 10: Yann Aurel Bisseck of FC Internazionale looks on during the UEFA Champions League 2024/25 League Phase MD6 match between Bayer 04 Leverkusen and FC Internazionale Milano at BayArena on December 10, 2024 in Leverkusen, Germany. (Photo by) However, before pursuing more incoming deals, Inter must raise funds from player sales. Bisseck is on the market, largely thanks to his significant value. Indeed, the Eagers are ready to table a significant €32 million bid for the 24-year-old. Yet, Inter would like to earn more. Particularly, they would sanction Bisseck's exit for a fee in the region of €40 million. Bisseck's departure would hand the Nerazzurri much-needed funds and enable them to pursue De Winter or Leoni. It's now up to Palace to decide whether they want to spend that much.
