Nepo baby Hannah Einbinder reveals what her Hollywood parents REALLY think of her following in their acting footsteps - and explains how she manages to stay grounded
Nepo baby Hannah Einbinder has opened up on Thursday about what her famous parents really think of her following in their footsteps. Her Hollywood star parents Laraine Newman, 73, and Chad Einbinder, 62, welcomed Hannah in 1995. Laraine was an original cast member of Saturday Night Live and Chad has starred in a number of films and TV series including, Doctor Dolittle, The Time Traveller's Wife, Tangled and more. Now Hannah has shared that her parents originally told her not to go into comedy or acting as they believed it doesn't actually matter if your funny or not. Hannah told Town & Country: 'They kind of discouraged it. 'I was like, "Do you think I could do it?" And my mom was like, "I don't know. You could be really funny, and it actually sometimes doesn't matter."' Her Hollywood star parents Laraine Newman, 73, who was an original cast member of Saturday Night Live, and Chad Einbinder, 62, welcomed Hannah in 1995 Despite her parents originally 'discouraging' the career, Hannah has shot to fame for her portrayal of Ava Daniels in hit series Hacks and has bagged herself a Critics' Choice Award and was Emmy and Golden Globe nominated. Laraine and Chad tied the knot in 1991 and were married 24 years before splitting and in that time also welcomed son Spike, 33. Also while speaking to the outlet, Hannah insisted she has managed to stay grounded as she opened up about her life outside the spotlight. She said: 'I'm in a sweet spot right now. My life has changed zero in the most tangible, everyday sense. I walk wherever I want to go. I live really small; I have a one-bedroom apartment. I drive a used 2015 Prius.' Hannah also discussed how the first time she did stand-up was a complete rush and all her 'self-doubt just melted away'. Hannah is the magazine's latest cover girl and looked stunning in a eye catching green strapless jumpsuit as she posed for photos. The stunner added a pair of long black leather gloves and a chunky gold necklace. In another look, the star put on a leggy display in a daring orange gown which boasted a plunging drape neckline and a thigh high split. Despite her parents originally 'discouraging' the career, Hannah has shot to fame for her portrayal of Ava Daniels in hit series Hacks and has bagged herself a Critics' Choice Award and was Emmy and Golden Globe nominated It comes after Hannah's mum Laraine deleted an angry post targeting The Bear after her daughter lost out at the 2024 Primetime Emmy Awards last September. 'F**. THE. BEAR,' Laraine posted along with numerous exclamation points on X, formerly known as Twitter. Laraine posted in reaction to Liza Colon-Zayas of The Bear winning for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Comedy Series. Hannah was nominated in the same category for her work in the HBO series Hacks. Laraine then posted: 'I think the Bear is a great show but IMHO it's not a comedy- not even a dark comedy.' Someone else asked if the original post was necessary and Laraine responded: 'I know. I took it down. Not my best moment.' Laraine earlier shared her frustration over The Bear being in the same comedy category as Hacks. 'Every time I think about The Bear being in the comedy category for the Emmys I can feel an ulcer developing,' she posted. While Hannah lost out in her acting category, Hacks did win the final award of the event - Outstanding Comedy Series. Hacks also won for Outstanding Writing for a Comedy Series and Jean Smart, 73, won Outstanding Lead Actress in a Comedy Series for her work on the HBO show. Meanwhile, Shogun broke the all-time record for a single season of TV with 18 as the show not only earned top honor Outstanding Drama Series but also Outstanding Lead Actress and Actor In A Drama Series for Anna Sawai and Hiroyuki Sanada, respectively. When it came to the limited or anthology series categories, it was Netflix smash-hit Baby Reindeer which earned Outstanding Limited or Anthology Series in addition to Outstanding Lead Actor In A Limited Or Anthology Series for Richard Gadd and Outstanding Supporting Actress In A Limited Or Anthology Series for Jessica Gunning. The ceremony was held less than a year after the 75th edition of the show which took place the January before after being moved back from its intended September 2023 date due to the writers and actors strikes.

THIS actress missed Oscars Best Actress but became World Most Beautiful Woman at 62, not her first time
The World's Most Beautiful Woman 2025 title goes to an actress who continues to shatter society's beauty standards. At 62, Demi Moore made it to People Magazine's 'Most Beautiful Woman' of 2025, surpassing Hollywood big names like Angelina Jolie, Jennifer Lopez, Julia Roberts, Scarlett Johansson, Beyonce, Jennifer Aniston and more. Actor Demi Moore is one of the oldest to hold the most beautiful title. She made a powerful comeback last year with her film, The Substance. The film fetched her an Oscar nomination as Best Actress and a Golden Globe, a Critics' Choice Award and a Screen Actors Guild Award win. While Demi did not win the Academy Awards, she secured in the Most Beautiful Woman list of this year. She previously broke the internet with her transformation at 62. Demi made it to the cover and opened up about her body image issues. She shared, 'I have a greater appreciation for all that my body has been through that brought me to now. It doesn't mean that sometimes I look in the mirror and don't go, 'Oh God, I look old,' or 'Oh, my face is falling' — I do. But I can accept that that's where I'm at today, and I know the difference today is that it doesn't define my value or who I am.' The 62-year-old actor revealed she 'tortured' herself for the perfect body when she was young. She said she was 'really just punishing myself'. "Now I have a much more kind of intuitive, relaxed relationship with my body. I trust when it tells me it needs something to eat, that it's thirsty. I listen to my body today, and I have a lot less fear. When I was younger, I felt like my body was betraying me. And so I just tried to control it. And now I don't operate from that place. It's a much more aligned relationship," she added. While Demi bagged the prestigious title, it is certainly not her first time in the list. In 1996, she made it to the People magazine's 50 Most Beautiful People. In 2004, People placed her on ninth spot of their list of All-Time Most Beautiful Women. Demi Moore began her career in the industry as a model. She made her film debut in 1981 and joined the cast of General Hospital as a teenager. She rose to fame with movies like Ghost. A Few Good Men, and Indecent Proposal and went on to become the world's highest-paid actress with her film, Striptease in 1996. After starring in several key roles in the last few years, she marked her comeback in the lead role as Elisabeth Sparkle in The Substance. First Published: 26 Apr 2025, 09:03 PM IST

Adrien Brody Revealed That Harvey Weinstein's Kids Call Him 'Popsy' In His Divisive Oscars Acceptance Speech
Hot Topic 🔥 Full coverage and conversation on the Oscars As I am sure you are aware by now, the Oscars took place last night, and one winner in particular caused a bit of a stir with his speech. No, not Kieran Culkin exposing his wife Jazz Charton's promise that she'd give him a fourth child if he won — Adrien Brody's five-minute-long speech, which included him snapping at the Academy crew for trying to play him off. The speech has, understandably, sparked a lot of discourse, with some calling Adrien ' arrogant ' for the way that he shut down the music that tells winners when they've been talking for too long by referencing his first Oscar, saying: 'Turn the music off, I've done this before, thank you — it's not my first rodeo.' Others have claimed that he ultimately said a whole lot of nothing despite speaking for so long. However, there was at least one interesting tidbit of information buried in his speech, and that is the fact that Harvey Weinstein's youngest children, 13-year-old India and 11-year-old Dash, refer to him as 'Popsy.' For reference, Adrien has been dating Harvey's ex-wife, Georgina Chapman, since 2019, and has been shouting her out in his acceptance speeches all awards season. Back in January, Adrien couldn't resist gushing about Georgina as he accepted the Best Actor in a Drama Golden Globe, where he said: 'To my beautiful and amazing partner, Georgina: Your generosity of spirit, your own resilience, your immense creativity are a daily reminder of how to be.' He also name-checked her when he won a Critics' Choice Award last month, and when he won a BAFTA, he called Georgina 'an angel.' But last night's Oscars marked the first time that Adrien has referenced Georgina's children, and the role that he plays in their lives. He said: 'I share this with my amazing partner Georgina — who has not only reinvigorated my own self-worth, but my sense of value and my values — and her beautiful children, Dash and India. I know it's been a rollercoaster, but thank you for accepting me into your life — Popsy's coming home a winner!' ABC / Via Georgina first started dating disgraced movie producer Harvey back in 2004, and the two got married in 2007. In October 2017, Georgina announced that she was divorcing him after more than 100 women came forward with allegations of rape, assault, or sexual harassment. She said in a statement at the time: 'My heart breaks for all the women who have suffered tremendous pain because of these unforgivable actions. I have chosen to leave my husband. Caring for my young children is my first priority and I ask the media for privacy at this time.' Harvey and Georgina reached a settlement in January 2018, and their divorce was finalized in July 2021. Meanwhile, Harvey was found guilty of two of five felony counts in New York in February 2020 and sentenced to 23 years in prison. In December 2022, Harvey was found guilty of three of seven charges in Los Angeles and sentenced to an additional 16 years in prison. In the years since their split, Georgina has rarely mentioned her ex-husband or his crimes, but in May 2018, she did open up about 'life after Harvey Weinstein' in a lengthy and emotional interview with Vogue, where she said that she didn't leave her home for five months when the allegations against Harvey first broke. She told the publication: 'I was so humiliated and so broken that I didn't think it was respectful to go out. I thought: 'Who am I to be parading around with all of this going on?' It's still so very, very raw. I was walking up the stairs the other day and I stopped; it was like all the air had been punched out of my lungs.' When asked if she was seeing a therapist, Georgina said that initially she felt as though she 'didn't deserve' to get this help, but she had a change of heart when she realized that she needs to 'move forward' with her life. At this point, Georgina also referenced her and Harvey's children, sharing: 'I have moments when I just cry for my children. What are their lives going to be?' 'What are people going to say to them?' she continued, with Vogue reporting that Georgina was crying while speaking. 'It's like, they love their dad. They love him. I just can't bear it for them!' In addition to India and Dash, Harvey has three adult children from previous relationships: 22-year-old Ruth, 27-year-old Emma, and 30-year-old Lily. It is not known if any of Harvey's children still have any kind of relationship with him.

Demi Moore scores first Oscar nomination at 62; Clint Eastwood, Helen Mirren won their first later in life
Demi Moore has reached new career highs following her starring role in "The Substance." The 62-year-old actress has already won the Golden Globe and Critics' Choice Award for her leading role in the movie. During her acceptance speech at the Golden Globes, she told the crowd, "This is the first time I've ever won anything as an actor," despite having been in the industry for over 45 years. While many were shocked to hear that Moore had never won an acting award before, she is not the only actor who has first found success at award shows later in their career. Here are some other stars who didn't win their first Academy Award until later in life. Clint Eastwood began his acting career in the 1950s, when he was 25, starring mostly in westerns, including "Rawhide," "The Outlaw Josey Wales," "Pale Rider" and many more. Despite being one of the most recognizable actors of the time as well as a household name, Eastwood didn't receive his first Academy Award win or nomination until 1993, when he was 62 years old. Eastwood won the award for directing the film "Unforgiven." That same year, he also won in the best picture category for the same film and was also nominated for his leading role in the movie. He has since received eight additional nominations in the directing, best picture and acting categories, winning two more Oscars in 2005 for directing "Million Dollar Baby," which also won best picture that year. Eastwood's latest nomination came in 2015, when "American Sniper," which he directed and produced, was nominated for best picture. Alan Arkin had his first acting role in 1957 when he was 23 years old and received his first Academy Award nomination 10 years later, in 1967, for his role in "The Russians Are Coming the Russians Are Coming," but he didn't win. He continued to act, starring in "Inspector Clouseau," "The Heart is a Lonely Hunter," for which he received another Academy Award nomination, "Slums of Beverly Hills" and much more. After multiple nominations, his big win finally came in 2007, when he won the Oscar for his role in "Little Miss Sunshine," at the age of 72. The actor went on to receive his fourth Academy Award nomination in 2013, for his role in "Fargo." British actress, Jessica Tandy, was an accomplished stage actress, having won four Tony Awards for her roles in "A Streetcar Named Desire," "The Gin Game" and "Foxfire." She first appeared on-screen in 1932, when she was 23, and went on to star in over 60 films. After decades in the industry, Tandy received her first Academy Award win and nomination in 1991 for her starring role in "Driving Miss Daisy." At the age of 80, Tandy became the oldest best actress winner in history, a record that has not yet been broken. Her role in the movie also earned her a BAFTA and a Golden Globe Award. She went on to receive a second Oscar nomination in 1993 for her supporting role in the film "Fried Green Tomatoes." Known for his starring roles in "The Sound of Music," "The Man Who Would be King," "A Beautiful Mind" and other classics, Christopher Plummer appeared in his first movie in 1958, when he was 29 years old. He went on to star in over 215 onscreen projects and many Broadway plays. Decades later, Plummer received his first Academy Award nomination in 2010, when he was nominated for his supporting role in "The Last Station." Although he did not win that year, his big day came two years later, when he won the award for his supporting role in "Beginners" at the age of 80. His momentum continued, as he was later nominated for his supporting role in "All the Money in the World," a part that was originally played by Kevin Spacey but was taken over by Plummer when Spacey was let go following accusations of sexual misconduct against him. Judi Dench began acting on screen in 1959, appearing mostly as a guest on various television shows before making her big screen debut in the 1964 movie "The Third Secret," when she was 30 years old. Her big break came with her first starring role in the 1997 film "Mrs. Brown," for which she earned her first Oscar nomination. Although she lost at the 1998 ceremony, she was nominated once again in 1999 for her supporting role in "Shakespeare in Love," a role which earned her her first Academy Award win when she was 64 years old. She went on to receive six more Academy Award nominations for her work in films, including "Chocolat," "Notes on a Scandal" and "Belfast." Morgan Freeman got his big break in Hollywood in 1971, when he landed the role of Mark on "The Electric Company," which he appeared in for 780 episodes until 1977. He quickly found success as an actor, receiving three Academy Award nominations from 1988 to 1995, for the films "Street Smart," "Driving Miss Daisy" and "The Shawshank Redemption," before winning his first Oscar in 2005 at the age of 67 for his work in "Million Dollar Baby." He went on to receive a fifth Academy Award nomination in 2010 for his leading role in the film "Invictus." Helen Mirren first appeared on-screen in 1967, when she was about 22 years old, and got her first major success as an actress in 1984, when she won the best actress award at the Cannes Film Festival for her role in "Cal." After breaking into the industry, Mirren continued to find acclaim for her work, receiving Academy Award nominations for her supporting roles in "The Madness of King George" in 1995 and "Gosford Park" in 2002. It wasn't until 2007 that Mirren won her first Oscar at the age of 61 for her leading role in "The Queen." She went on to receive a fourth nomination in 2010 for her leading role in "The Last Station."

Where Can I Watch 'The Substance'? How to Stream the Best Picture Nom Starring Demi Moore and Margaret Qualley Ahead of the Oscars
The indie body horror film The Substance has boomed into a huge hit. Made on a budget of just $17.5 million, per Deadline, the film grossed more than $77 million worldwide and has earned many awards and nominations. The Substance, which premiered on Sept. 20, 2024, has also earned its star Demi Moore numerous accolades, including a Critics' Choice Award, a SAG Award and a Golden Globe. During her Critics' Choice Award speech, Moore said, "The very recognition, not just for me, but for what this film is about, what it's trying to convey, your acknowledgment is almost like the elixir.' She continued, 'It is the healing balm to the very issue the film brings forward." The Substance has also earned five Oscar nominations, including in major categories like Best Picture, Best Actress for Moore, Best Director for Coralie Fargeat and Best Original Screenplay. When the nominations were announced, the director became only the ninth female nominee in her category, per The Hollywood Reporter. So, where can you watch the highly-lauded body horror? Read on to find out where The Substance is currently streaming and where it's available to rent digitally. In The Substance, Demi Moore plays an aging Hollywood starlet named Elisabeth Sparkle who is fired from her popular exercise show the day she turns 50 because a studio exec (Dennis Quaid) feels she's become too old. Soon after, Elisabeth is told about a secret medical procedure, called 'The Substance," that promises to make her feel young and beautiful. The process allows her body to birth another body who is half her age (Margaret Qualley) and the two can live side-by-side, but only one can be conscious at a time. The rules state that the two versions can only exist for seven days at a time before needing to switch out. If one of the versions remains conscious for more than seven days, they begin sucking the life out of the other. Desperate for youth and beauty, Elisabeth's new younger self (who names herself Sue) quickly gets careless and starts overusing her time, which causes Elisabeth's body to rot away. By the end, she's almost unrecognizable and has eroded away into a hideous monster. On top of the film's incredibly squirm-worthy body horror, it tackles themes of sexism, ageism and the patriarchy. Moore told The Guardian that she brought life to her character by using her own experiences of sexism and ageism in Hollywood, particularly in the '90s. "We've all had moments where you go back and you're trying to fix something, and you're just making it worse to the point where you're incapacitated," she said. "We're seeing these small things nobody else is looking at, but we're so hyper-focused on all that we're not. All of us, if we start to think our value is only with how we look then ultimately we're going to be crushed.' Moore added, 'What I did to myself, what I made it mean about me. Really looking at that violence, how violent we can be towards ourselves, how just brutal." The Substance is streaming exclusively on Mubi and the Mubi subscription through Prime Video. Mubi's chief executive, Efe Cakarel, decided to buy the rights to the body horror, making it the distributor's first global acquisition, after watching the scene in which Quaid peels and eats a mound of shrimp. 'This was something incredibly unique,' he told The New York Times in 2025. 'I had never been this sure about anything.' Viewers can digitally rent The Substance on various platforms like Prime Video, Apple TV+ and Fandango at Home. The Substance is also still screening in select cinemas around the country, so check local theater listings. Read the original article on People
