Miss Saigon to be shown at Venue Cymru in January 2026
Seann Miley Moore will reprise his role as The Engineer in the stage musical, appearing at the venue as part of a UK tour from Tuesday, January 6, to Saturday, January 10. "I can't wait to see Miss Saigon reborn again." The production is directed by Jean-Pierre Van der Spuy, with Chrissie Cartwright and Carrie-Anne Ingrouille as co-choreographers. The show's set and costumes are designed by Andrew D Edwards, with lighting by Bruno Poet, sound by Adam Fisher, and video design by George Reeve. The classic musical, which first premiered in London in 1989, tells the tale of 17-year-old Kim, who is forced to work in a Saigon bar run by a character known as The Engineer. There, she meets and falls in love with an American GI named Chris, but they are torn apart by the fall of Saigon. The show follows Kim on her three-year journey of survival to find her way back to Chris, who is unaware he has a son. Since its London premiere in 1989, Cameron Mackintosh's original production of Alain Boublil and Claude-Michel Schönberg's epic musical Miss Saigon has become one of the most successful musicals in history. The original Broadway production of Miss Saigon opened on April 11, 1991, and played for nearly ten years with its 4,097 performances attended by more than 6.3 million people. This is part of a larger UK and Ireland tour, with other locations including Newcastle's Theatre Royal, Edinburgh Playhouse, and Manchester's Palace Theatre. Tickets are now available from the Venue Cymru website.

Rag'n'Bone Man signs up for Celebrity Gogglebox with comedian
Rag'n'Bone Man (real name Rory Graham) has signed up for the Channel 4 show to make his first-ever reality TV appearance. He will be joined by comedian and TV host Romesh Ranganathan on the sofa, reacting to all the nation's favourite shows. As reported by The Sun, the duo confirmed their appearance in a video shared to social media. Speaking to the camera, Romesh said: "Hello I'm Romesh and this is Rory [Rag'n'Bone Man]. "We are gonna be on Celebrity Gogglebox, aren't we?" Rag'n'Bone Man, dressed in a pink T-shirt, then added: "Yes we are, this Friday at 9pm." Rag'n'Bone Man was born on January 29, 1985, in Eastbourne, East Sussex, and is known for his deep baritone voice. His first hit single 'Human' was released back in 2016, which peaked at number one in various singles charts around Europe. Romesh has also appeared in a few films, including Chicken Run: Dawn of the Nugget and Despicable Me 4. Celebrity Gogglebox is available to watch on Channel 4 at 9pm on Friday, June 20.

Nepo baby Hannah Einbinder has opened up on Thursday about what her famous parents really think of her following in their footsteps. Her Hollywood star parents Laraine Newman, 73, and Chad Einbinder, 62, welcomed Hannah in 1995. Laraine was an original cast member of Saturday Night Live and Chad has starred in a number of films and TV series including, Doctor Dolittle, The Time Traveller's Wife, Tangled and more. Now Hannah has shared that her parents originally told her not to go into comedy or acting as they believed it doesn't actually matter if your funny or not. Hannah told Town & Country: 'They kind of discouraged it. 'I was like, "Do you think I could do it?" And my mom was like, "I don't know. You could be really funny, and it actually sometimes doesn't matter."' My life has changed zero in the most tangible, everyday sense. I walk wherever I want to go. I live really small; I have a one-bedroom apartment. I drive a used 2015 Prius.' Hannah also discussed how the first time she did stand-up was a complete rush and all her 'self-doubt just melted away'. Hannah is the magazine's latest cover girl and looked stunning in a eye catching green strapless jumpsuit as she posed for photos. The stunner added a pair of long black leather gloves and a chunky gold necklace. Hannah was nominated in the same category for her work in the HBO series Hacks. Laraine then posted: 'I think the Bear is a great show but IMHO it's not a comedy- not even a dark comedy.' Someone else asked if the original post was necessary and Laraine responded: 'I know. I took it down. Not my best moment.' Laraine earlier shared her frustration over The Bear being in the same comedy category as Hacks. 'Every time I think about The Bear being in the comedy category for the Emmys I can feel an ulcer developing,' she posted. While Hannah lost out in her acting category, Hacks did win the final award of the event - Outstanding Comedy Series. Hacks also won for Outstanding Writing for a Comedy Series and Jean Smart, 73, won Outstanding Lead Actress in a Comedy Series for her work on the HBO show. Meanwhile, Shogun broke the all-time record for a single season of TV with 18 as the show not only earned top honor Outstanding Drama Series but also Outstanding Lead Actress and Actor In A Drama Series for Anna Sawai and Hiroyuki Sanada, respectively. When it came to the limited or anthology series categories, it was Netflix smash-hit Baby Reindeer which earned Outstanding Limited or Anthology Series in addition to Outstanding Lead Actor In A Limited Or Anthology Series for Richard Gadd and Outstanding Supporting Actress In A Limited Or Anthology Series for Jessica Gunning. The ceremony was held less than a year after the 75th edition of the show which took place the January before after being moved back from its intended September 2023 date due to the writers and actors strikes.
