Season 4 marked the series debuts for Julianne Nicholson, Michaela Watkins, Bresha Webb, Robby Hoffman, Eric Balfour, Danny Jolles, Gavin Matts, Grover Whitmore III, Holmes, Jasmine Ashanti, Katy Sullivan, Matt Oberg, and Sandy Honig. 'We congratulate 'Hacks' singularly talented cast and crew and our great partners at Universal Television,' Sarah Aubrey, Head of Max Original Programming, said in a press statement. Erin Underhill, President of Universal Television, added, 'Like Deborah Vance herself, 'Hacks' only gets bolder, sharper, and more iconic with time. We're beyond thrilled to keep the laughter rolling with Jen, Paul, Lucia, our extraordinary cast and crew, and our partners at Max.' In total, 'Hacks' has garnered 48 Emmy nominations, including a Season 3 win for Outstanding Comedy Series. The show has been a top five series on HBO Max since its Season 4 debut in the U.S., and a top 10 series globally. According to HBO, Season 4 has been pacing as the series' best season yet and has achieved both domestic and global week-over-week growth every week so far this season. The IndieWire review for Season 4 praised the comedy series for spotlighting its stellar ensemble cast, with critic Ben Travers writing, ''Hacks' has long made room for all the voices in its ace ensemble, but no one has been able to overshadow its leads, Smart (who has three Emmys for the role) and Hannah Einbinder as Ava (who should have at least two). In part, that's because both actors are delivering impeccable work, balancing their caustic comic chemistry with course, unbridled vulnerability.' Travers teased that the Season 4 finale has its own conclusion while still making room for possible new directions, including perhaps even 'giving Poppy Liu's Kiki the DJ treatment in Season 5.' For next season, 'the floor will also always be incredibly high, given the talent involved,' Travers wrote. 'I just hope there are more rewarding fights ahead, for Deborah, for Ava, and for 'Hacks.'' So how are you guys enjoying your time on Top Chef? Yeah. Top Chef is back. Let's go. 15 rising star chefs have come to Canada. To compete in the ultimate culinary showdown, poutine, poutine. I've never eaten so much poutine before. Yes, girl, they're here to fight for the biggest prize ever. Over half a million dollars up for grabs. A lot of dough on the line, right? I was nominated for rising chef of the Year. Uh, Indian household is kind of like Talladega Nights. If you're not first you are last. I was the only female chef in cuisine of a 3 Michelin star in the US. I can fry chicken and I can make a torsion of foie gras. My job's not done until I win Top Chef. Beautiful. A lot of love in this dish. It gives you these little pops of like brightness. I love the heart behind it to execute something like that is unbelievable at this stage of the competition. I get grumpy when the food's not so good. I'm not grumpy right now. Nailed it. You want to hang out with me? Is this thing moving? We opened please welcome today's guest judge, Michael Cera. Hi Huy Johnson, what's up y'all? Daniel, already they're dropping the D bomb. What the laser. Shall we do a triple axel? I'm gonna do what you guys are doing since I'm a guest. Glad we got to come to another part of Canada. It's gorgeous. Two torches better than 1. Let's hope that doesn't leave you in a pickle. Hey. You know, at some point we all decided that we wanted to be chefs. I am I missing one? Oh my God. And it's long hours, but it's all worth it. I sweating my ass off. Something burning, hovering. Let me do my thing. Don't bother me. I have a little bit of an ego. The Top Chef kitchen is not the place to work out your baggage. Flex you, don't flex other people's accomplishments. The next top chef is. Can I compete? Yes, go, Tom.

What to watch this weekend: New TV shows, movies to see or skip in theatres and streaming on Netflix and more
From award-winning films to a show about a fraudster, there are a lot of choices when deciding what to watch this weekend. For example, new Critics Choice Award-winning animated film The Wild Robot is now available to stream on Prime Video, while the new series Apple Cider Vinegar landed on Netflix. But what was the best of the new releases in theatres and on streaming? We've helped you figure out what to see and what to its theatrical release last year, The Wild Robot is now available to stream, and it's a must-watch. Emotional, detailed and heartfelt, this film is a brilliant on-screen adaptation of Peter Brown's novel that is moving and dazzling. With characters voiced by Lupita Nyong'o, Pedro Pascal, Bill Nighy, Kit Connor, Mark Hamill and Catherine O'Hara, it's a beautiful film about kindness, fitting in, and parenting that is unforgettable. At the core of what makes Heart Eyes really work is that it dives into the rom-com genre, in addition to the horror elements, with all the gore you want, with equally as much excitement. That combination is what makes the movie feel special, keeping you sucked into this story. Olivia Holt and Mason Gooding have the chemistry needed to balance those two genres together in one film. It's a fin and creepy ride that brilliantly paced, never a dull moment, but not too overstuffed to lose focus. We need more Heart Eyes in the future. An incredibly heartfelt film that brought the crowd at its Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF) premiere to tears, We Live in Time, directed by John Crowley, written by Nick Payne, and starring Florence Pugh and Andrew Garfield, will be available to stream on Paramount+ on Sunday. If you need an emotional moment, this is one to once. Executed with a non-linear format, it's a romance story that explores parenthood in a way that feels raw, honest and intimate, in a really impactful way. Kinda Pregnant commits to being outrageous in its comedy and premise, with Amy Schumer's character, Lainy, faking a pregnancy, but the film also leans into the emotion to stand out from the crowd. It may not be as iconic as Trainwreck, but Schumer, who is also a producer and co-writer on the film, approaches the story with a vivaciousness and honesty that's appreciated. Yes, including the fart jokes and sex scene with Will Forte when the garage door opens (we'll let you watch it to figure out exactly what that means). Kinda Pregnant is that movie you can put on to just watch something that's trying to make you laugh, while also inviting you to get in your feelings. I will also say that Urzila Carlson has some great one-liners throughout the whole movie. Apple Cider Vinegar is a series inspired by the story of Belle Gibson, the Australian scammer who lied about having brain cancer and became an influencer, pushing recipes with the belief that a diet change can cure someone of the disease. "This is a true story based on a lie. Some names have been changed to protect he innocent," the show's star, Kaitlyn Dever, who plays Belle, says in the first episode of the series. "Belle Gibson has not been paid for the recreation of her story." While the series is a great setup for a gripping tale, and Dever is incredibly compelling as Belle, it does feel over stuffed, particularly in the middle section of the show. Would I have watched eight or 10 episodes instead of six? Absolutely. There are too many characters and scams involved in Belle's story that the lack of time is Apple Cider Vinegar's biggest downfall.
