Olympic gold medallist named new ambassador for Colchester cruise company
OLYMPIC gold medallist Sally Gunnell has been named the new ambassador for ROL Cruise's rewards programme.
The cruise retailer, based in Colchester, made the announcement as part of its 30th anniversary celebrations.
As the official face of Cruise Miles, Sally will encourage holidaymakers to embark on cruise holidays.
Sally said: "I'm genuinely so chuffed to be joining ROL Cruise as Cruise Miles ambassador.
"Unpack once but wake up somewhere new every day.
"It's effortless, exciting and gives you space to recharge while exploring the world in comfort."
ROL Cruise said the partnership is a major milestone in the company's 30th year.
Ms Gunnell will share her advice, experiences, and inspiration with ROL Cruise customers, having enjoyed many cruises herself.

Rosie Cairns, CEO of ROL Cruise, said: "Her down-to-earth nature, love of travel, and commitment to wellbeing are a perfect match for the ROL Cruise community."
Sarah Wikevand, chief commercial officer at ROL Cruise, extended thanks to the previous ambassador, Jennie Bond.
She said: "Jennie has become a familiar face to so many of our customers, and we're delighted that she will continue to work with us as honorary VIP on many special projects, including customer meet-and-greet events."
