Sean ‘Diddy' Combs accuser sues Harvey Weinstein for sexual assault

Crystal McKinney, a former model, accused the disgraced movie mogul of sexually assaulting her and a friend at a hotel in New York City in 2003. The lawsuit against Weinstein was first filed anonymously on 28 February. It claimed that a modelling company executive set up a meeting for McKinney to "discuss a potential business opportunity" with Weinstein one evening on the pretence that meeting Weinstein would allow McKinney to "make it big". In her lawsuit, she alleged that the executive told her, "Don't f**k him until he puts you in a movie'.

Sean Combs, Harvey Weinstein accused of sexual assault by same woman

Sean 'Diddy' Combs and Harvey Weinstein have been accused of sexual assault by the same woman. Crystal McKinney, who filed a lawsuit against Combs in May 2024, accusing him of intoxicating and sexually assaulting her, has now been named in an amended May 30 complaint, which was initially filed in February 2025, against disgraced film producer Weinstein, 73. The complaint, which is unrelated to Diddy's lawsuit, alleged that Weinstein assaulted McKinney and a friend in a Manhattan hotel room in 2003. According to the complaint, McKinney claims she received a call from an unnamed modelling company executive telling her that he had set up a business meeting between her and Weinstein at a popular West Village lounge in the evening. McKinney said she brought along a fellow modelling friend and roommate to see if he would "consider her as well for an acting role," reported People. According to the complaint, they arrived at the lounge and waited for the film mogul to arrive before being ushered to his table. McKinney then claimed that Weinstein "repeatedly told them that he wanted to get to know both of them better, so he could see their 'real selves' " and suggested that they move the meeting to "discuss potential acting roles" to his place since the lounge was "too loud and crowded," as per the outlet. However, once they got back to the hotel room, McKinney alleges in the complaint that the film producer "plied" them with beverages, ordering several bottles. McKinney claimed that she was "disgusted but too frightened to voice her opposition" and had been heavily "intoxicated" at the time. In the filing, she claimed that Weinstein's assistant then called the hotel room, and McKinney informed her of what took place. However, instead of "addressing" her complaints, the assistant allegedly told her to "leave the hotel room immediately," reported People. McKinney said she experienced "depression, anxiety, anger, self-blame, suicidal ideation, body image issues and demoralisation." Weinstein was convicted in New York State for rape and sexual assault in 2020 and subsequently sentenced to 23 years in prison. However, his convictions were overturned in April 2024 after the New York Court of Appeals ruled he didn't receive a fair trial because women uninvolved in the charges were allowed to testify, as per the outlet. In January, Weinstein begged a New York judge to move up his retrial date, claiming that he was in poor health and didn't know "how much longer" he could "hold on." He is serving jail time on Rikers Island due to his 2022 convictions for sex crimes charges in California. As for Combs, he is on trial for sex trafficking and racketeering charges, for which he has pleaded not guilty.

Diddy accuser sues Harvey Weinstein for sexual assault

Crystal McKinney was named Friday in an amended lawsuit first filed against Harvey Weinstein in February, according to documents obtained by Fox News Digital. McKinney, a former model, accused the disgraced movie mogul of sexually assaulting her and a friend at a hotel in New York City in 2003. She previously sued Sean "Diddy" Combs in May 2024, and accused the "Last Night" rapper of sexual assault during a Men's Fashion Week event in 2003. "Harvey Weinstein categorically denies the outlandish and fantastical claims made against him by Crystal McKinney in her complaint," Weinstein's lawyer, Imran H. Ansari, told Fox News Digital. "Made late in time and suspiciously on the heels of her complaint against Sean 'Diddy' Combs, Mr. Weinstein is ready to refute and defend against the salacious claims, that are believed to have been made with an opportunistic motive." The lawsuit against Weinstein was first filed anonymously on Feb. 28 under the pseudonym A.P. McKinney claimed that a modeling company executive set up a meeting for her to "discuss a potential business opportunity" with Weinstein at the PM lounge one evening, on the pretense that meeting Weinstein would allow McKinney to "make it big," according to the complaint. In her lawsuit, she alleged that the executive told her, "Don't f--- him until he puts you in a movie." She noted that she was "bothered" by the executive's "crass comment," but was interested in the possibility of "working with the biggest producer in Hollywood." McKinney brought her roommate, "Jane Doe," to the meeting with the hope Weinstein would consider her for a movie role as well. She claimed in the lawsuit that during the meeting, Weinstein "repeatedly told them that he wanted to get to know both of them better." He allegedly asked to go somewhere quieter as the lounge was too loud, and the women agreed to "go to his place to discuss potential acting roles." After arriving at Weinstein's hotel room via his chauffeur, McKinney claimed the former Miramax honcho "plied the women with alcohol, ordering them bottles of Boulevardier and Dom Perignon, several gimlets for Plaintiff, and vodka cocktails for Jane," the complaint stated. As McKinney sat on the couch, she alleged Weinstein grabbed her breasts and tore at her tank top. "In Plaintiff's efforts to avoid being groped, drinks were sloshed onto her shirt," according to the complaint. "Plaintiff fled to the bathroom and Jane followed suit." Weinstein then allegedly "barged into the bathroom and continued to leer at Plaintiff's visible breasts through her soaked tank top. Weinstein demanded that the women strip and take a bath with him." McKinney claimed that Weinstein then "exposed himself to the women before entering the tub," and then commanded the women to join him in the tub. "Plaintiff and Jane complied with his request, as they felt backed into a corner and feared that he would retaliate against them if they refused his sexual advances," the complaint stated. Weinstein then allegedly "directed the women to engage in same-sex sexual conduct with each other." He then allegedly "grotesquely watched, taking perverse joy from forcing the women to engage in sexual acts with each other." "At some point, Weinstein dragged the intoxicated women out of the tub and into the bedroom," the complaint stated. "Weinstein, then, pushed Plaintiff onto the bed, and raped her." After Weinstein "ceased assaulting Plaintiff, he forcibly penetrated Jane as well," the documents alleged. Following the incident, Weinstein left the hotel room. The hotel phone rang, and Weinstein's assistant allegedly told the women to leave the hotel room immediately. In May 2024, McKinney filed a lawsuit against Diddy in a Manhattan federal court. She claimed that the powerhouse producer "plied Plaintiff with alcohol throughout the dinner as he repeatedly refilled her glass with wine." After the meal, Combs allegedly asked McKinney to meet him at his studio on 44th Street, and she felt "reassured that she would be with others at the studio rather alone in a personal residence." Upon arriving, she found Combs with several other men passing around "a bottle of Hennesy and joints." "One of Combs' associates asked her, 'Do you smoke weed?' to which she responded affirmatively," the documents stated. "Combs' associate replied: 'You've never had weed like this before.'" The complaint stated that "Plaintiff later came to understand that Combs had laced the joint with a narcotic or other intoxicating substance." McKinney said she felt "pressured" to imbibe by Combs, who told her that she was "acting too uptight." "Seeing Plaintiff was very intoxicated, Combs demanded Plaintiff follow him and he physically led Plaintiff to the bathroom," the suit stated. "In the bathroom, Combs forced himself on Plaintiff and began kissing her without her consent." He allegedly forced McKinney to "perform oral sex on him." McKinney allegedly "lost consciousness" and awoke in shock to find herself in a taxicab. She noted that modeling opportunities "quickly began to dwindle and then evaporated entirely" following the alleged assault. McKinney believed that Combs "blackballed" her in the industry. "The assault led Plaintiff into a tailspin of anxiety and depression," the suit claimed. "In or about 2004, Plaintiff attempted suicide and was hospitalized." She claimed to experience alcohol and drug addiction in an attempt to cope "with the emotional trauma of being assaulted." Diddy is currently on trial, and faces 15 years to life in prison if convicted of sex crimes and racketeering. Weinstein received a retrial after his 2020 sexual assault conviction was overturned. In a 4-3 decision, the court found that Weinstein's trial judge allowed prosecutors to call women who said Weinstein had assaulted them to testify, even though their accusations did not specifically relate to the entertainment mogul's charges.

Sean Combs Accuser Sues Harvey Weinstein for Sexual Assault

A woman who is suing Sean Combs for allegedly drugging and sexually assaulting her in 2003 has filed a separate lawsuit against Harvey Weinstein. In a lawsuit filed Friday, May 30, in Manhattan Federal Court and obtained by People, former model Crystal McKinney alleges that in 2003, Weinstein raped her and her friend in a Manhattan hotel room. More from Rolling Stone PBS Sues Trump Administration Over Executive Order to Cut Funding Trump Addresses Possible Sean Combs Pardon: 'I Would Certainly Look at the Facts' Sean Combs' Ex-Assistant Says He Terrorized Her With Threats McKinney claims that an unnamed modeling executive arranged a meeting between her and Weinstein for 'business opportunities.' She had been hoping to get into the film industry, and she brought along her roommate who was also a model who wanted to work in film. They met with Weinstein at a nightclub, according to the suit. McKinney claims that Weinstein said he was having issues hearing them due to the noise of the club, so he invited them to his hotel room at the Ritz-Carlton Battery Park Hotel. According to the suit, McKinney alleges Weinstein 'plied' them with alcohol before grabbing her breasts, which caused drinks to spill on her shirt. She and her roommate went to the bathroom, where she claims Weinstein 'barged' in, exposed himself, and forced the roommates to have sex with each other in front of him before raping them. (An attorney for Weinstein did not immediately reply to a request for comment.) In a separate lawsuit filed in May 2024, McKinney made allegations against Combs, claiming he drugged and sexually assaulted her. The suit states that she met Combs at a dinner when she was 22 during Men's Fashion Week in 2003. During the dinner at Cipriani Downtown, Combs allegedly behaved 'in a sexually suggestive manner' and 'plied' her with alcohol. Following the dinner, the lawsuit alleges Combs invited her over to his Manhattan recording studio. She went, believing it was a safe spot since it was a professional setting as opposed to a personal residence. While there, she alleged that Combs passed her a joint that she believes was laced with a narcotic. Afterward, she said Combs forced her to perform oral sex on him. She then passed out shortly after, and she woke up 'in shock to find herself in a taxicab.' Combs has denied all allegations against him and is currently on trial after being arrested in September. (He's pleaded not guilty to charges of sex trafficking, transportation to engage in prostitution and racketeering conspiracy.) If convicted as charged, he could spend the rest of his life in prison. One of Combs' accusers, Casandra 'Cassie' Ventura, has testified, claiming he emotionally, physically, and sexually abused her for more than a decade. Witnesses, including Dawn Richard and Kid Cudi, have testified, backing her claims during the trial. Weinstein is currently being retried on sexual assault and rape charges. In the initial 2020 case, Weinstein was convicted on two out of five charges, one for a felony sex crime, the other for third-degree rape. He was sentenced to 23 years in prison, but in April 2024, an appeals court overturned the conviction. The court ruled that prosecutors should not have been allowed to let some of Weinstein's other accusers testify, when their allegations were not related to the charges he faced. Weinstein was also convicted of rape and sexual assault, and sentenced to 16 years in prison in a separate California case. He has filed an appeal in that case, too. Diddy and Harvey Weinstein both have the 'SAME model victim'

Harvey Weinstein is facing allegations of sexual assault by a woman who also claimed to be a victim of disgraced music mogul Sean 'Diddy' Combs. Crystal McKinney has filed separate lawsuits against both men in a New York federal court, accusing them of sexually assaulting her as she tried to break into the industry in 2003. McKinney filed a suit against Weinstein on Friday, alleging he raped her and a friend in a Manhattan hotel room during a business meeting arranged to discuss her career. She claimed a modeling company executive set up a meeting between she and Weinstein at a nightclub, but that when she arrived with her roommate, who was also looking to become a star, the movie exec said it was too noisy and invited them to his hotel room. The trio traveled back to his room at the Ritz-Carlton. McKinney alleges Weinstein encouraged both girls to get drunk on Dom Pérignon and vodka cocktails and then forced them to have sex with each other, before raping them. According to the lawsuit seen by PEOPLE, Weinstein grabbed her breasts and 'tore at her tank top' - at which point McKinney attempted to flee to the bathroom. He allegedly 'barged' into the bathroom where McKinney and her friend were cowering and 'demanded the women strip and take a bath with him.' McKinney said she 'complied with his request', as did her friend, because they felt 'backed into a corner and feared that he would retaliate against them if they refused his sexual advances.' Weinstein is currently being retried in New York on multiple sex assault charges. He denies any and all wrongdoing, but recently admitted in a jailhouse interview he did 'make a pass' at accuser Gwyneth Paltrow. Responding to McKinney's allegations, an attorney representing Weinstein Imran H. Ansari told TMZ: 'Harvey Weinstein categorically denies the outlandish and fantastical claims made against him by Crystal McKinney in her complaint. 'Made late in time and suspiciously on the heels of her complaint against Sean 'Diddy' Combs, Mr. Weinstein is ready to refute and defend against the salacious claims, that are believed to have been made with an opportunistic motive.' Back in 2024, McKinney sued Diddy, accusing him of pressuring her to consume marijuana and alcohol then perform oral sex on him in the bathroom of his recording studio. She alleged the pair met in 2003 when she was a 22-year-old old up-and-coming model, after an unnamed fashion designer introduced them. She said that designer dressed and styled her 'to ensure Combs found her attractive', before taking her to Cipriani Downtown - a restaurant in New York. There, she claimed Diddy made sexually suggestive remarks at her before inviting her back to his recording studio with several other male companions. She accused Diddy of handing her a joint which she believed was laced with other drugs and 'pressuring her to imbibe more alcohol and marijuana by telling her that she was acting too uptight.' After the alleged assault, McKinney said she lost consciousness, and woke up in a cab. Following the alleged incident, McKinney claimed Diddy made sure she was '"blackballed" in the industry and utilized his significant influence to impede [her] career growth.' According to the 2024 suit, McKinney ultimately attempted to take her own life. Diddy asked a court to toss out the suit at the time because be believed the statute of limitations for her complaint had expired. The disgraced music mogul is currently on trial accused of sex trafficking and racketeering. He denies all charges. Kid Cudi and Cassie Ventura are among the celebrities called to testify about their experiences with Diddy. They've both described a violent and controlling man who wielded his power and influence in terrifying ways.
