Prince George fourplex ‘engulfed' by suspicious fire, RCMP say
Mounties in Prince George are appealing for information after two suspicious fires broke out at the same building within a week.
The first fire was reported June 5 around 2 a.m. and the second on June 11 at 2:30 a.m., according to authorities. Only one unit was damaged by the first blaze, but the second one 'engulfed' all four units in the building on the 1200 block of Cuddie Crescent, Prince George RCMP aid in a news release.
'Thankfully, everyone was able to get out of the houses in time and no injuries have been reported,' said spokesperson Cpl. Jennifer Cooper, in a statement.
'Investigators are now asking for anyone in that area to check their video surveillance or dash camera footage for anyone caught moving through that neighbourhood around the time of the two fires or for any footage relating to the fires that would assist these investigations.'
Anyone with information is urged to call the detachment at 250-561-3300.
