50 Cent congratulates rival Diddy for not-guilty verdict on top charges: ‘The Gay John Gotti'
50 Cent was quick to react to the Sean 'Diddy' Combs verdict Wednesday – seemingly hailing the disgraced rapper for beating the feds before quickly dubbing him 'the Gay John Gotti.' 'Diddy beat the Feds that boy a bad man!' the rapper said in an Instagram post alongside a photo of himself grinning and applauding emojis. 50 Cent, who has a longstanding feud with the disgraced music mogul, then compared him to the infamous Mafia boss who was nicknamed 'The Teflon Don' after prosecutors couldn't get charges to stick, The NY Post reports. 'Beat the Rico, he the Gay John Gotti,' the rapper added. The 'In Da Club' hip-hop artist was name-dropped during the trial back in May during shocking testimony that touched on the longstanding feud between the hip-hop legends. Diddy's ex-assistant, Capricorn Clark, had told jurors her boss once implied he might pull a gun on Fitty. 'I don't like all the back and forth … I like guns,' Clark recalled Combs telling his manager after seeing 50 Cent at an MTV event. 50 Cent – who famously took nine bullets during a 2000 shooting in Queens – reacted to the name-drop with mocking faux fear. 'Wait a minute PUFFY's got a gun, I can't believe this I don't feel safe,' the New York City native posted on Instagram after the testimony. 'LOL.' The beef between the pair began nearly 20 years ago after 50 Cent, whose real name Curtis James Jackson III, released a diss track — 'The Bomb' — in 2006 that accused Combs of knowing who killed The Notorious B.I.G. He spent much of the Combs' sex-trafficking trial roasting him over the torrent of graphic evidence and accusations levelled against him. The Bad Boy Records founder was ultimately found guilty of two counts of transportation to engage in prostitution. He was acquitted on two sex-trafficking charges and one racketeering charge. The acquittals on the sex trafficking counts mean he will avoid a 15-year mandatory minimum sentence. He could have faced life in prison if he were convicted on sex trafficking or racketeering conspiracy. Combs now faces a maximum 10-year prison sentence on each of the two prostitution counts.

Rapper 50 Cent fires back at NYC Dem socialist candidate after being name-dropped in tax plan
Print Close By Lindsay Kornick Published June 26, 2025 50 Cent offered to pay for New York City Democratic mayoral candidate Zohran Mamdani to leave the state on Wednesday after learning about his tax plan from an interview that referenced the rapper. The video he referenced was from "The Breakfast Club" podcast on June 11 where Mamdani appeared while campaigning for the Democratic primary earlier this month. During the interview, Mamdani explained his goal of raising corporate taxes to pay for plans to "Trump-proof" the city. "We're talking about corporations that are making millions of dollars, not in revenue, but in profit," Mamdani said. "And the second is taxing the top 1% of New Yorkers. We're talking about people who make a million dollars a year or more, taxing them just by a flat 2% tax increase." BERNIE SANDERS, AOC-BACKED MAYORAL CANDIDATE PLANNING MASSIVE SPENDING INCREASES IN NYC He added, "I know if 50 Cent is listening, he's not going to be happy about this. He tends to not like this tax policy, but I want to be very clear this is about $20,000 a year. It's a rounding error. And all of these things together, they make every New Yorker's life better, including those who are actually getting taxed now." 50 Cent, whose real name is Curtis James Jackson III, later responded to Mamdani's comments on Instagram. "Where did he come from? Whose friend is this? I'm not feeling this plan. No. I will give him $258,750 and a first class one-way ticket away from NY. I'm telling Trump what he said too!" 50 Cent wrote. Fox News Digital reached out to Mamdani's team for a comment. CITY-RUN GROCERY STORES, DEFUNDING POLICE, SAFE INJECTION SITES: WHAT TO KNOW ABOUT NYC'S NEXT POTENTIAL MAYOR 50 Cent notably endorsed President Donald Trump in 2020 after learning that then-candidate Joe Biden's tax plan would tax New York at a rate of 58% and New York City at a rate of 62%. "WHAT THE F--K! (VOTE For TRUMP) IM OUT," Jackson wrote on Instagram. "F--K NEW YORK The KNICKS never win anyway. I don't care Trump doesn't like black people 62% are you out of ya f--king mind." He later walked back that endorsement. CLICK HERE TO GET THE FOX NEWS APP Print Close URL

50 Cent ignites social media with video supporting Louisiana Amendment Two
SHREVEPORT, La. (KTAL/KMSS)—Social media lit up in Shreveport, with people asking each other, 'Did you get a text or email from 50 Cent asking you to vote yes for Amendment 2?' He posted a video and written support for the amendment through his G-unity Foundation, and it wasn't long before people started resharing the video in which the head of G-Unit Television and Films introduced himself by his 'government' name, Curtis James Jackson. Some online questioned why he chose a day before voters in the state were to adopt or deny significant changes to the constitution to announce his support for the amendment. Louisiana Commissioner calls constitutional amendment #2 'foolish' Louisiana State Representative Tammy Phelps said, 'I'm hoping Shreveporters are smarter than that.' She went on to say, 'Saturday's election is really, really important to the state of Louisiana because we're changing our constitution, things that have been protected, things that have been best thus far for the state of Louisiana.' Still, many applauded Jackson for having a say in supporting the amendment. The amendment involves many changes to the state tax code that Governor Jeff Landry and his administration believe will be a game-changer for Louisiana, making it a more welcoming state to do business. There is also a video of Donald Trump Jr. supporting the amendment, and the Shreveport Chamber of Commerce has also come out in support. Copyright 2025 Nexstar Media, Inc. All rights reserved.
