NEW DELHI: Homegrown IT services firm Tata Consultancy Services ( TCS ) on Thursday launched new India-specific solutions to ensure data security enabled by localised cloud infrastructure. Designed to accelerate India's artificial intelligence (AI)-led transformation, TCS has launched 'SovereignSecure Cloud', 'DigiBOLT' and 'Cyber Defense Suite'. 'As we look to apply more and more emerging technologies to various tasks within the country, especially artificial intelligence, more and more data will have to be used. More and more data will have to be processed, and facilities to enable this are needed within the country and to that extent, today's launch is very significant,' said S Krishnan , secretary, Ministry of Electronics and IT ( MeitY ).
