emt, a cybersecurity solutions, training, and service provider, has announced a new collaboration with the Dubai Electronic Security Center (DESC). The partnership is part of continued efforts to raise cybersecurity awareness among youth and promote a secure digital environment.
The initiative was revealed during the second week of the Cyberspace Leaders Program 2025, held at the University of Dubai. It targets students aged 13 to 18, offering them a dynamic, hands-on learning experience.
Activities will run daily from July 7 to 10, aiming to build essential digital skills and cybersecurity knowledge in a structured and engaging environment.
Throughout the four-day program, students will take part in several interactive events, including: Safe internet browsing challenges
Cyber-themed escape rooms and digital games
In addition, the sessions will feature awareness-building workshops. These are designed to simplify key cybersecurity concepts while encouraging teamwork, collaboration, and critical thinking.
Amer Sharaf, CEO of the Cyber Security Systems and Services Sector at DESC, reported that empowering youth with cybersecurity skills is a strategic investment. He emphasized that it supports Dubai's digital future and leadership in technologies like artificial intelligence and cybersecurity.
Mo Mobasseri, CEO of emt, commented on the partnership. He stated that engaging students through practical cybersecurity experiences helps spark their interest in digital safety and future careers.
The Cyberspace Leaders Program was created to nurture scientific curiosity, enhance teamwork, and provide direct interaction with emt cybersecurity experts. The program opens up promising career paths in this critical and evolving field.
