‘This could've been our last meal': Car crashes through Texas restaurant as YouTubers Patrick Blackwood, NinaUnrated film burger review
Two popular food YouTubers narrowly escaped a tragedy in Texas after a car came crashing into the restaurant where they were filming a burger review. Patrick Blackwood, a Czech Bowl Champion, and Nina Santiago, better known online as NinaUnrated, had just sat down at CuVee's Culinary Creations in Houston to record a burger review when the vehicle came crashing through the glass wall beside them.

Both were left injured. Photos shared by Nina on Instagram showed cuts and bruises on their face, arms, and chest. She recalled the terrifying moment in her caption: 'I'm beyond grateful to be alive after an SUV crashed through the wall at @cuveesculinarycreations in Houston, TX, shattering everything while @iampatrickblackwood and I recorded an eating show.'
Nina described how she had just bitten into a salmon slider when the SUV struck: 'It hit us directly, me on his left, him on my right, as I bit into a delicious salmon slider. Out of nowhere, but we survived.'

The cause of the crash remains unclear, with authorities yet to confirm who was behind the wheel. In the meantime, Nina used her post to reflect on how the near-death experience shifted her perspective: 'This experience showed me who truly matters; life's too short for grudges or anger. Let go, forgive, live in the now, and cherish those around you—this could've been our last meal.'
She also credited a higher power and her late dog, writing, 'Thankful to the universe and our angel pup Loyal, who passed in Nov 2024 and protected us from above.'
The crash video has gone viral on social media platforms, and netizens took to the comments to share their views on it. Many came in defence of the couple, while many others called it staged.
A user wrote, 'This is like the end of the final destination movies when the characters think they cheated death and then some crazy shit happens at the end as the credits roll.'
Another user commented, 'It's a miracle they got away mostly unscathed. It could have easily killed both of them. It slammed right into where they were sitting.'
A third person commented, 'I really hope this isn't staged, cos crazy what people do for content these days.'
