If you're making plans for the summer, or more specifically, the next few days, Emerald Park may have you covered! The popular theme park located in Ashbourne, Co Meath, has announced a surprise as part of its ongoing celebrations for the 10th anniversary of the iconic Cú Chulainn Coaster. The special 'birthday offer' runs from Monday, July 7 to Wednesday, July 9, but there's a catch! Pic: Emerald Park If you were planning on availing of the free tickets with your adult friends, you are flat out of luck, as Emerald Park is only offering one free kids' entry to the theme park and zoo per paying adult. However, if you want to be the best parent, sibling, aunt, uncle or cousin, the deal will be right up your alley. To avail of the exclusive offer, guests must pre-book the offer online from where full terms and conditions can be found. Meanwhile, Emerald Park is also giving away an eye-watering €10,000 as part of the celebrations. Since June 30, there have been daily cash giveaways, hidden golden envelopes, and a brand new on-ride video experience. Each day, there is a €1,000 cash prize to be won. Guests can search high and low from the shadows of the Cú Chulainn Coaster queue, to the trails near Lemur Woods, beside the towering Rotator ride, near the splash zone of the Viking Voyage, or close to the ever-popular Junior Zone.

€10k up for grabs at Emerald Park to celebrate Cú Chulainn Coaster anniversary
€10,000 in prizes is up for grabs this summer as Emerald Park celebrates a decade of the popular Cú Chulainn Coaster. Emerald Park has announced plans to give away €10k over 10 days from June 30 to July 9 to mark the milestone as the amusement park will have daily cash giveaways and hidden golden envelopes, as well as a new on-ride video experience. There will be €1,000 in prizes every day over the 10-day period and any group booking who attends the park before 1pm will be automatically entered into a draw for the cash raffle, which will take place every day at 2pm. "The Cú Chulainn Coaster has been at the heart of Emerald Park for the last decade and continues to be a massive draw for guests from Ireland and abroad," Managing Director of Emerald Park, Charles Coyle said. "This 10 year milestone is a celebration of all the thrills, laughter and unforgettable memories shared on this iconic coaster. "We're incredibly proud of what it represents and there's no better way to mark the occasion than by giving back to our guests with a €10,000 celebration full of fun, surprises and prizes." Among the other prizes include 10 golden envelopes which will be hidden across Emerald Park and its zoo every day. These will contain prizes such as park memberships, family day passes, merchandise and more. The Cú Chulainn Coaster is one of the most popular attractions at Emerald Park, having been launched in June 2015. It stands more than 32 metres high and drops 31 metres, reaching speeds of 100km/h.
