Sanitation worker hits DC Lottery twice in one week
WASHINGTON () — Lady Luck was on one D.C. man's side not once but twice! DC Lottery officials announced that Otis O. hit the lottery two times in one week, taking home $50,000.

The sanitation worker said he became interested in lottery games after hearing his barber talk about winning. Excited to put his luck to the test, Otis played the DC 5 game and won $25,000.
But that wasn't all.
Just days after accepting his win, Otis returned to the DC Lottery's Prize Center to claim another $25,000.
It all happened while he was cleaning up and decided to take a closer look at his remaining tickets. That's when he discovered he had won the lottery again.
He told officials that he was excited about his first winning ticket, and didn't think to check the others.
Otis said he will remain committed to helping others and getting new clothes.
