Officer 'in fear' Investigating officer Det Con Dan Smith thanked the victim and the wider public for their help with the investigation"The victim simply wanted to speak with him in relation to Sherred's antisocial driving in a quiet, residential part of Salisbury, and Sherred has instead used his vehicle as a weapon to collide with him."Sherred was also sentenced for an incident in Salisbury last year, when he drove a vehicle across Salisbury heavily intoxicated before ramming a police vehicle, leaving the officer in fear for his own safety."We will not tolerate driving and violence like this in Wiltshire."
