The Indian Embasssy in Manila has published an advisory on how Philippine citizens can go through the e-visa application. - Photo: DFA-Manila MANILA: (Bernama-PNA) The government of India has granted Filipinos a free 30-day double-entry e-tourist visa, valid from Aug 1, 2025 to July 31, 2026, the Philippine News Agency (PNA) reported. The Indian Embassy in Manila said Friday (Aug 8) that the free visa can be applied for online via the official portal at By default, applicants will receive a double-entry e-tourist visa valid for 30 days from the date of arrival in India. Applications must be filed at least four days before the intended arrival and can be submitted up to 30 days ahead of travel. Passports must have at least six months' validity at the time of application. Upon arrival, travellers may be required to present proof of return or onward travel and sufficient funds for their stay. The free visa offer applies only to the 30-day e-tourist category. Standard visa fees remain applicable for all other e-visa types, including longer-duration e-tourist, e-business, e-medical, e-conference and e-student visas. All e-visas are non-extendable and non-convertible, and are not valid for entry into protected, restricted or cantonment areas. Filipinos who wish to obtain a regular paper visa, including a tourist visa, from the Embassy of India will be required to pay the prescribed fees.
