Dubai Foundation for Women and Children signs MoU with Dr. Faisal Al Hefaity Law Firm

United Arab Emirates – Dubai: In line with its ongoing efforts to protect and support vulnerable groups and to enhance institutional partnerships rooted in humanitarian principles, the Dubai Foundation for Women and Children (DFWAC) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Dr. Faisal Al Hefaity Law Firm and Legal Consultancy. The agreement aims to provide, specialized legal support to women and children benefiting from the Foundation's services, while strengthening collaborative efforts in care, protection, and long-term empowerment. This strategic step reflects the commitment of both parties to fostering closer cooperation and activating strategic partnerships in the field of women and child welfare. It also seeks to integrate legal and social efforts in service of the community, thereby contributing to the advancement of sustainable social development. Under the terms of the MoU, Dr. Faisal Al Hefaity Law Firm will provide legal consultations at no cost and represent cases referred by the Foundation before judicial authorities in the United Arab Emirates. This includes civil, criminal, and family law cases. The agreement also includes participation in joint events and initiatives, and a commitment to respond to urgent cases requiring legal intervention. For its part, the Foundation will provide awareness lectures and conduct training workshops on key topics such as domestic violence, child abuse, and human trafficking. On this occasion, Her Excellency Sheikha Saeed Al Mansouri, Acting Director-General of the Dubai Foundation for Women and Children, emphasized that the signing of the MoU reaffirms DFWAC's commitment to the vision and strategic priorities of the Emirate of Dubai. She stated: 'Today, we sign this MoU with the vision of our wise leadership in mind to make Dubai the best city to live in. This collaboration is a practical step towards realizing the objectives of the Dubai Social Agenda 33 and aligns with the theme of 2025: The Year of the Community. We firmly believe that comprehensive care is only complete when paired with legal protection and psychosocial support. We take pride in this partnership with a reputable law firm known for its values and professionalism, and together, we look forward to building an integrated model for the protection and empowerment of those most in need, upholding human dignity in the UAE, the homeland of humanity.' On the other side Dr. Faisal Al Hefaity expressed his pride in the partnership, stating It is both an honor and a privilege for Dr. Faisal Al Hefaity Law and Legal Consultancy Office to be part of this purposeful humanitarian partnership with the Dubai Foundation for Women and Children—a leading institution in caring for the most vulnerable segments of our society. HE Sheikha Saeed Al Mansouri signed on behalf of the Dubai Foundation for Women and Children, while Dr. Faisal Al Hefaity, Founder, Lawyer, and Notary Public, represented Dr. Faisal Al Hefaity Law Firm and Legal Consultancy. UAE, Dubai, The Dubai Foundation for Women and Children (DFWAC) has launched a digital awareness campaign in celebration of Stop Cyberbullying Day titled "Our Digital Safety", aiming to enhance public awareness about the risks of cyberbullying and engage the community in promoting a culture of prevention capable of addressing it. The campaign also sought to encourage students to embrace safe digital practices and positive behaviours, including tolerance and respect online. As part of the campaign, a week-long online competition was held for public and private school students from grades three to seven across Dubai, with the participation of 100 students. Delivered via the Fillout platform in both Arabic and English, the contest featured 15 multiple-choice questions focused on identifying cyberbullying and understanding how to prevent it. Schools received the competition link To reinforce learning, the Foundation distributed tailored digital awareness content to participating students and their parents via email after the competition concluded. The material was designed to sustain the campaign's impact and promote continued dialogue at home about safe internet practices. Complementing these efforts, the Foundation also published a series of educational posts across its official social media channels. These posts offered guidance to adults on how to recognizeze and respond to signs of cyberbullying in order to minimize its spread and support victims within the community. Her Excellency Shaikha Saeed Al Mansouri, Acting Director General of the Dubai Foundation for Women and Children, stated that early awareness is the most effective line of defence against all forms of violence, including cyberbullying, an issue that continues to grow alongside the rising use of technology among children and adolescents. 'In line with the directives of our wise leadership, we are committed to playing our awareness and preventive role by helping to build a safe and supportive digital environment for everyone,' she said. Al Mansouri went on to say that the Foundation is inspired by the humanitarian vision of H.H. Sheikha Fatima bint Mubarak, Chairwoman of the General Women's Union (GWU), President of the Supreme Council for Motherhood and Childhood, and Supreme Chairwoman of the Family Development Foundation (FDF), the "Mother of the UAE. 'Her Highness is a role model in supporting the rights of women and children, and her initiatives have led to a qualitative leap in protection, care, and empowerment across the country,' Al Mansouri added. She concluded by saying, 'Today, we are proud to observe Stop Cyberbullying Day as we continue our efforts to spread awareness about the dangers of cyberbullying. We are committed to creating an integrated environment that prioritises prevention and promotes community partnerships to build a healthier digital future.' The campaign concluded with the announcement of ten student winners, who were each awarded an AED 500 gift card provided by Mirdif City Centre, totalling AED 5,000 in prizes. The winners' names were shared via the Foundation's official platforms.

The delegation included Ms. Sharon , Chief of American Citizen Services, and Mr. usama Naguib, Senior Specialist in Political and Economic Relations The visit aimed to explore the Foundation's programs and initiatives dedicated to victims of human trafficking and to discuss its future directions in care and rehabilitation. The delegation was received by HE Shaikha Saeed Al Mansouri, Acting Director General of DFWAC, accompanied by Ms. Shams Al Muhairi, Director of Community Service and Awareness, Ms. Aisha Al Madfa, Head of Research and Studies, and Ms. Majd Al Nuaimi, Psychological Testing Specialist, along with several department heads and staff members. The visit began with an official reception at the Foundation's Executive Majlis, followed by a comprehensive presentation highlighting key psychological, social, and rehabilitation services, particularly those directed at victims of human trafficking. The tour also included a field visit to the Foundation's facilities such as play therapy and relaxation rooms, as well as an overview of family counseling methodologies and legal support mechanisms provided to victims. HE Shaikha Saeed Al Mansouri emphasized that the visit reflects the Foundation's approach to fostering partnerships with international stakeholders in the fields of women's and children's rights. She noted that knowledge exchange with strategic partners like the U.S. Consulate enhances the efficiency of protection efforts and enriches the victim support ecosystem.
