Woman came to pick up car after DeKalb driver arrested. Then she got arrested, too
A woman who attempted to do a good deed for another person has now found herself behind bars. [DOWNLOAD: Free WSB-TV News app for alerts as news breaks] Last Wednesday, DeKalb County police were alerted to an SUV linked to a felony shoplifting incident. Officers found and stopped the car on N. Decatur Road and N. Decatur Lane and confirmed the driver had active felony warrants. According to DKPD, while on scene, a woman came to get the car, only to be found wanted herself on an aggravated battery charge. DeKalb Co. police investigating shooting on Memorial Drive with woman reportedly caught in crossfire
The DeKalb County Police Department is investigating a shooting on Memorial Drive on Monday morning that left a woman with a gunshot wound. However, police said there's a possibility the victim was harmed while two others were shooting at each other. The woman, described as in her 40s, was able to talk to investigators at the scene, officers said. Police said the woman is currently in stable condition and they are continuing their investigation. Murder case of DeKalb man found shot to death in front seat of car remains unsolved
Police in DeKalb County are asking for the public's assistance in solving an almost six-month-old murder case. Police said he was found in the front seat of a green Toyota Corolla outside a retail complex at 7184 Rockbridge Road. 1 dead after multi-vehicle crash on I-285
DeKalb County police are investigating a multi-vehicle collision that left one person dead early Sunday morning. [DOWNLOAD: Free WSB-TV News app for alerts as news breaks] Around 2:47 a.m., DeKalb County officers were called to a crash on Interstate 285 northbound south of Glenwood Road. Investigators said it was a multi-vehicle crash that began when one driver pulled over due to car trouble, and another car hit her. The first driver died of her injuries. Her age and identity were not released. At this time, authorities believe four vehicles may have been involved in the crash. Woman in critical condition, another pistol-whipped after shooting at DeKalb apartment complex
Two women were injured during an early morning shooting in DeKalb County. When officers arrived, they found a woman in her 40s with multiple gunshot wounds. She was rushed to the hospital with critical injuries. Investigators said there was another woman who had been pistol-whipped. She suffered minor injuries. Their identities were not released.
