Boyle shot to fame on Britain's Got Talent at the age of 47 in 2009 with her incredible performance of I Dreamed A Dream from Les Misérables.
The 64-year-old went on to release eight albums, sold over 20 million records and even sang for the late Pope Francis during the Vatican's Christmas concert in 2019.
However in April 2022 she suffered a major stroke which left her unable to speak and sing properly, with significant muscular weakness down one side.
After undergoing intensive vocal coaching lessons, which helped restore her speech and singing voice, she is now planning to release new music and go on tour again.

Boyle thanked her manager Geraldine Easton for being her "rock" during the recovery process.
She said: "Today was wonderful, emotional, and everything in between.
"I made my return to the recording studio for the first time in six years, something I was told I might never achieve again. But here we are, in my happy place.
"I want to thank my manager, Geraldine, for being my absolute rock through everything and for helping me get back to where I belong. A million thanks."
