Alice Evans looks downcast as she's seen for the first time since her ex husband Ioan Gruffudd married Bianca Wallace - two years after bitter divorce

Alice Evans looked downcast as she was seen for the first time on Monday since her ex husband Ioan Gruffudd married Bianca Wallace. The actress, 56, kept her head down as she stepped out in Beverly Hills with her daughter Ella for a brief outing just a week after Ioan and Bianca tied the knot. Alice and Welsh actor Ioan, who share two daughters Ella, 15, and Elsie, 11, endured a bitter divorce two years ago. The newly-weds took to their respective Instagram to share a grainy video of the them tying the knot in a romantic ceremony, captioning their posts: 'Mr & Mrs Gruffudd. Marriage now, wedding later.' Set to Martin Arteta's track Past Lives, the video shows the pair saying their vows in front of an idyllic backdrop with a stunning sea view. Australian actress Bianca, 32, looked every inch the gorgeous bride in a plunging ivory gown while holding on to a bouquet of pink roses. Meanwhile, Ioan looked dashing in a classic black suit, with the Fantastic Four star at one point seen wiping away tears as he declared his love to his new wife. The sweet video also sees the newlyweds toasting their marriage with champagne, with other moments seeing them lark around with their pet dog. The pair, who went public with their relationship in October 2021, looked happier than ever as they shared several kisses throughout the video. As their Instagram caption suggests, they have officially tied tied the knot in a formal ceremony, with their wedding reception celebration to follow at a later time. Their happy news was met with a plethora of congratulatory messages from their Instagram followers, with Bianca's sister Chanel remarking: 'So proud! Very exited to have a new brother in our family.' Their happy moment comes following Ioan's messy split with Alice, with the ex couple formally divorced in July 2023. However, they are still battling fiercely over spousal support and custody and financial support for their two daughters Ella and Elsie. At the September 9 court hearing, Judge Josh Freeman Stinn signed off on a stipulated agreement in which Ioan pays $3,000 a month temporary child support and $1,500 a month temporary spousal support until another February 13 hearing where a more permanent support arrangement will be forged. Their happy news was met with congratulatory messages from their Instagram followers, with Bianca's sister Chanel remarking: 'So proud! Very exited to have a new brother in our family.' Ioan planned to call his then fiancée Bianca as a witness at the February hearing to testify that his ex wife 'stalked, harassed and abused' her, repeatedly violating a three-year domestic violence restraining order (DVRO) which she and Ioan took out in August 2022, after enduring a 'smear campaign' of hateful text messages, emails and social media posts from her. Ioan claims that Alice 'engaged in a pattern of damaging and defamatory conduct against me, aimed at intimidating and harassing me and my fiancé, Bianca Wallace, while alienating our two young children from me.' Ioan – whose latest movie, Bad Boys: Ride or Die has grossed more than $403 million worldwide – has fought Alice's demands for more money, claiming he's paid some $400,000 more in spousal support that he needed to under their pre-marital agreement. In earlier court papers, he called her claims of poverty 'exaggerated' and said it's a 'false narrative' that she and the children have been left destitute. The former couple met on the set of the movie 102 Dalmatians more than 20 years ago. They fell in love in real life and were married in Mexico in 2007. Ioan filed for divorce in March 2021, shortly after Alice announced on social media that her husband of 14 years was walking out on her and their two daughters. Meanwhile, in February this year, Alice revealed she's being evicted from her LA home after being 'unable to pay her rent'. Sharing a sweet throwback snap with her two daughters, Alice shared that she is like many others in Los Angeles trying to find a new place to live The actress wrote on Instagram that she and her daughters have 'no way of renting even the cheapest room in the city' after being beset by financial woes amid her bitter court battle with ex-husband Ioan. Sharing a sweet throwback snap with her two daughters, Alice shared that she is like many others in Los Angeles trying to find a new place to live after the city was devastated by fires in January. Alice was thought to be renting a home in California with her two children after her bitter divorce from Ioan.

While their divorce officially came through in July 2023, the pair are still battling over spousal support and custody and financial support for their daughters Ella, 15, and Elsie, 11. Last year, Ioan accused Alice of violating a restraining order by allegedly posting about him on social media, violating a DVRO (domestic violence restraining order] and breaching the terms of their custody agreement. In paperwork filed at Los Angeles Superior Court — obtained by — Ioan alleged: "I have discovered several social media posts by Alice where she has openly disparaged me and my fiancee, and where she has posted medical information of our children, in continued violation of the DVRO and in violation of our stipulation [agreement about child custody]. "Alice's public harassment affects my public reputation and my ability to obtain new work." "That my ex could just make up a bunch of lies about our 20-year relationship, say it was abusive and that I abused the kids and that the court (and both sets of lawyers at the time) would just believe him. Despite copious evidence in the form of his own words in post interviews to the contrary." Ioan's team also shared another example of a social media post which alleged Alice had complained about having to pay hundreds of dollars for medicine for one of their daughters when she was sick. The posts were allegedly made in September 2024. Alice has previously insisted she no longer complains about her ex online. In a court filing at the start of September, she submitted a sworn statement in which she declared: "I have not engaged in that conduct for years. Ioan's allegations that I continued to post to social media using fake accounts was addressed by the police and found to be completely false. "I sincerely hope that, at least for the sake of our children who have been dealing with this for four years now, Ioan can accept my apology and we can move on to the actual issues that remain to be settled." Los Angeles considers package to create domestic violence task force

The Los Angeles City Council will vote Friday morning on a domestic violence services package that would include the creation of an enforcement task force. 'This is the largest investment in domestic violence services in Los Angeles history, expanding shelter and housing support for survivors who too often have nowhere to turn,' Councilmember Katy Yaroslavsky said. The proposal brought by Yaroslavsky would also create the Domestic Violence Restraining Order (DVRO) Enforcement Task Force to remove firearms from abusers and strengthen restraining order enforcement, a news release from the councilmember's office stated. 'This package is about making sure survivors have both the resources to escape abuse and the enforcement to prevent further harm,' Yaroslavsky said. Her office provided the following statistics regarding domestic violence in Los Angeles: Last year, 15,851 survivors reached out to DV hotlines for shelter, yet only 10% were able to access a shelter bed. Over 40% of unhoused Angelenos have experienced domestic or intimate partner violence, making this a key driver of homelessness. The DVRO Enforcement Task Force will formalize coordination between LAPD, the City Attorney, and other law enforcement partners to ensure restraining orders are enforced and guns are removed from abusers. The City Council meeting is scheduled for 10 a.m. Copyright 2025 Nexstar Media, Inc. All rights reserved. This material may not be published, broadcast, rewritten, or redistributed.
