Sankranthi has always been a prime season for Telugu cinema, and 2026 is already shaping up to be exciting. Following the announcement of the Chiranjeevi–Anil Ravipudi project, actor Naveen Polishetty's 'Anaganaga Oka Roju' has now joined the festive release makers shared the release date on social media with a new poster. The teaser also introduces the bride, played by Meenakshi Chaudhary, during a lively photoshoot film faced multiple delays over time. Sreeleela was originally cast as the female lead, but reports suggest she had to opt out due to scheduling conflicts. Actor Naveen Polishetty also reportedly met with an accident in the US in March 2025, suffering multiple the teaser for Anaganaga Oka Roju: The film is bankrolled by Naga Vamsi S and Sai Soujanya under the banners of Sithara Entertainments and Fortune Four Cinemas. Daaku Maharaaj release co-incided with Sankranti festival in January this year. The film grossed over Rs 136 crore worldwide and is the third highest-grossing Telugu film of 2025. It happens to be Balakrishna's 109th film as a leading actor.
