Sunni Endowments Directorate Earns Prestigious ISO Certification for Quality Management
The Sunni Endowments Directorate has achieved the international ISO 9001:2015 certification in quality management, marking a key milestone in its commitment to excellence and institutional efficiency. The certification confirms that the directorate has successfully met all globally recognized standards for quality management.
Sheikh Daij bin Salman bin Daij Al Khalifa, Chairman of the Civil Service Bureau, praised the achievement, describing it as a reflection of successful collaboration between the bureau and government entities to enhance administrative development programs. He commended the dedicated efforts of the directorate's team in completing the project efficiently and effectively.
'This accomplishment reinforces the culture of quality and excellence in public sector institutions,' Sheikh Daij said. 'It strengthens the government's ability to improve performance and provide sustainable services that meet citizens' expectations.'
Sheikh Dr. Rashid bin Mohammed bin Ftis Al-Hajri, Chairman of the Sunni Endowments Council, expressed his pride in the certification, calling it an important step in the directorate's institutional development journey. He emphasized the directorate's commitment to improving the efficiency of endowment management and delivering services that meet global standards, ultimately benefiting the wider community.
He also applauded the efforts of the directorate's staff for their teamwork and dedication throughout the preparation and auditing process, which culminated in successfully passing the external assessment. 'This certification marks the beginning of a new chapter focused on continuous improvement and development,' he noted.
The Civil Service Bureau provided technical and advisory support during the year-long project, which involved preparing a comprehensive action plan that covered quality management requirements, periodic reviews, staff training, and technical consultations.
ISO 9001:2015 is one of the most recognized global standards for measuring institutional performance and commitment to continuous quality improvement. Achieving this certification supports the government's development goals and promotes a culture of efficiency, transparency, and sustainable service delivery.
