SAHA Group Launches Japan's Daishogun Burger in Bangkok
SAHA Group has partnered with Daishogun Burger, Japan's No. 1 wagyu beef burger brand, to open its first outlet in Thailand. Authentic, savoury flavours are now available in a Japanese loft-style setting at the Kingsquare Rama III project.
Mr Taiki Honda, founder of Ganesha's Shogun Burger—winner of the Japan Burger Championship 2022 and ranked No. 6 globally at the World Burger Championship—said the brand's partnership with SAHA Group's Saha Osha Company led to the opening of the Daishogun Burger outlet on Rama III Road.
'The launch event was filled with a distinct Japanese ambience, with guests enjoying Japan's authentic wagyu beef burgers. The highlight was the signature Shogun Burger, a cheeseburger made with high-quality wagyu beef imported directly from Japan, freshly baked buns, and a bold yet balanced Japanese-style sauce crafted from a special recipe,' said Mr Taiki.
Decorated in modern loft style, the branch reflects the brand's playful spirit, youthful appeal, and distinct identity—welcoming young diners and Japanese food lovers alike. Shogun Burger currently operates more than 19 branches across Japan and one in Shanghai. Thailand marks the brand's first location in Southeast Asia, launched under its international name, Daishogun Burger. The name is inspired by the original yakiniku restaurant founded by Mr Taiki's ancestors in Toyama, Japan.
